You are a lucky gal! We got another fine-dusting of snow yesterday....certainly not a white sandy beach...but, a lightly-dusted yard. Yikes! :( Way too soon for us! No snow here til Halloween...but, you never know in Canada! It's full of surprises! We are supposed to go back to normal temps next week...Hopefully! Thanks for sharing your journey...I'm envious! For sure! :) Have a great vacation! ;) Love watching your dogs on the beach! They are so sweet!

Pollux is on sensory overload. I'm a bit surprised how well he is taking to the water. They are having such a blast. Just think Pollux would never have had this experience if it wasn't for you all adopting him. I love seeing him so happy. I love seeing him come out of his shell. Pollux had the time of his life! And....we started dog training with him yesterday. He learned soooo much just in one lesson. I can't wait to see the coming improvements :)

This was such a wonderful video!!!! I had a smile on my face the entire time!!! Watching the dogs in the water was priceless!!! I can't believe Pollux actually went into the ocean!!! It was plain to see that he loved his trip to the beach !!! I am so glad you adopted him....he is leading the good life now!!! He so deserves it!!! The scenery was beautiful and I am glad you all had a relaxing time. Thank you so much for this sweet entertaining video!!!

When I think of Pollux in the shelter.... this is marvellous! Maxxie is a brave boy and gives Pollux confidence. Just seeing Pollux in these surroundings is so heartwarming and thrilling at the same time. It's a joy to know how happy his life has become and how his world has expanded so beautifully.

I really like the way Renee and her family expand the dogs' personality and for the most part let them do what they want to do and notice when they enjoy things. When I compare that to the upbringing that I had, as a human, it does not compare. I had to always be under someone else's control with a military father and a mother who always had to be the center of attention, and not having much latitude to explore what I wanted to in life. Seeing the way Pollux was rescued from a life of waiting to a life where he is encouraged and enjoyed for all his personality and exploration is a wonderful thing to watch ... and this the third time I am watching this one.

@@tammytwaddell6292 they certainly do become family. We realised this when we lost our pet - we all agreed we couldn't go through that grief again. However, my daughter said a year later, mum, the house is not the same. We all agreed and decided to get tilly a mini schnauzer and we'll get another dog when tilly's around nine, so our home is never empty. God doesn't give us much time with our pets, I wish they lived longer but at least what time, we have is quality happy time 😊

Maxxie and Pollux did have a blast on the beach together with their parents. I wasn't expecting Pollux to put his paws into the sea though. Finally he managed it and apparently liked it, too. I felt soooo happy while I watched all of you on vacation. Brecken was also with you. What a fabulous video! I enjoyed every moment of it. I hope you had a jolly good time there. I also live on river in Madison. Few yrs back lost my Lucy to cancer at same time I had cancer. I thought losing her would kill me but it didn’t. I am alone so her passing huge loss. Your dogs give me so much joy I can’t even put into words. Such a blessing for me. Thank u from bottom of my heart. CB

What an absolute joy this was to watch, Renee!! I could see the sense of calm in Pollux's face as he was lying with you on the patio - what a sweet, sweet boy. And Maxxie is precious as can be - they make a great pair. I'm so glad you got to spend some down time just unwinding at the beach. It makes me miss the beaches we have been to over the summers.

This was so much fun watching Maxxie and Pollux playing on the beach! I wasn't sure if Pollux would go in the water, but he said that if Maxxie can do that then so can I 😂🙃🙃 So adorable. I just happen to come across this video, and it's great to see the dogs having a wonderful time. God bless you for adopting Pollux because you can see how happy he is. Maxie has helped him out of his shell and has showed Pollux what having a good time is all about. These two get along so well and it's 'doggie" company to each other! He would never have it this good anywhere else. It's wonderful that you work from home and they love following you around.. This is a great story of animal rescue & adoption and Pollux will be forever grateful to you and your family for giving him a loving home. They NEVER forget who rescued them. These are such a great pair and love each other. It makes tears come to my eyes watching him having so much fun..I have gotten all mine at the animal shelter and have gotten dogs no one wanted or ones that have been there a long time, especially those older dogs! You have big heart and only us dog lovers truly understand! I enjoy his and Maxie's doggie videos!!

Hey Renee! Just watched your beach video & really enjoyed watching both Maxxie & Pollux get used to the ocean. Love Maxxie's laid back attitude & watching Pollux explore. You know, I have lived in the Tampa Bay area of Florida all my life & pretty much "lived" at the beach when I was much younger. Even though all Pollux’s brothers & sisters got adopted before him, I think Pollux hit the jackpot with your family. I bet his siblings haven’t been to the beach. Thank you for sharing Pollux with us....& Maxxie!

This video was absolutely OUTSTANDING!!! So much fun watching Maxxie & Pollux enjoying themselves at the beach. Glad you enjoyed it! Getting that shot was almost impossible.....they would NOT stand still together. One was always running off or looking in the opposite direction 😅

Thanks a million for this gorgeous, gorgeous video Renee! I was with you on the beach and in your condo! It was fantastic to see how much Pollux and Maxie enjoyed themselves and how Pollux’ confidence grew with the water. I was amazed how few people there were! I feel I had a mini holiday!!! The sunsets!!!! Breath taking!!!! I have a feeling I’ll go back to this video many times as the weather in the North of England gets cooler and wetter! Well this is my first time seeing ur videos. I love them!!!! Dogs and beach...maybe my 2 favorite things!!!!! I'm stuck in freezing CO. My 2 sons and I had a wonderful dog. Had him almost as long as I had my boys. Peaches...a male, who came to our door and demanded we keep him. You are a hoot...love ur energy...patience and humor!!!!

So sweet seeing him learn about the beach & ocean! My dog would have been in that water so fast, splashing around, running along the tide edges. She was part Chow so she loved to cool off her belly and legs then stay in the water only about 1 ft. deep.
