The dew4x has 30 steps volume control but Simgot calls it Smart Control as the volume jumps at higher gaps at lower listening levels and finer adjustments levels used by most listeners.
@@jordanng5428 it’s ok bro, it’s just that for some reasons Simgot doesn’t advertise much about this smart feature especially when their all their older dongles have source dependent volume control.
Thank you for recommendations👍 I saw on the official simgot website that dew4x do not support mic so now I'm a little bit confused. Currently looking for a dongle with the mic throuhput for the iems with boom mic, but sadly there are not so many interesting options 😔
Hey man love your content, a bit off topic, but if I'm looking for an IEM that has great vocal, mids and dynamic, under $600 what's your pick? genre is jpop, and easy jazz
Yo.. thanks man. Try the Butastur. U will find great vocal and dynamics there. Or another safer choice would be Softear RSV. If u want to go with tribid, try the Mahina. These are all the iem i rock with my jpop Yoasobi abd Yorushika. XD
@@jordanng5428 Thanks for the rec, will try to find those and demo. Some find the butastur shouty, is that why you think it's not 'safe'? Also is the xenns top not good for vocal and general jpop listening?
@@reiness Top is not very specifically cater for jpop. Bass a bit too boomy. Butastur you can don't switch on the treble switch, I think it is totally fine. I think people say it's sharp, maybe cuz they are not used to such forward signature. Hahaha
I would recommend changing eartips instead. Dongle nowadays are tuned towards more clinical, not so much on taming highs. Try some tips like divinus velvet.
Love Palworld in the background. The dongle I used is the CX31993 and it is connected to my JDS Atom Amp+. Very budget setup that works wonders, and I wonder if I should go any further than this setup. What are you thoughts on this, Jordan?
