So glad I found this channel. All of the Bros. videos are so informative. Shame on you for throwing shade at your brothers on having the largest tank. 😂
@@CichlidBros my question is will japan, taiwan and South Korea ever have their own native cichlid fish species cause I want to breed a jewel cichlid with them
Nice update man. Fish color is poppin and the tank looks awesome. My Fusco is a big slasher as well 🤣 Like the energizer bunny , swims non stop. Enjoy that monster tank ✌️
I just got a 220 same exact size and upgrading from a 110g custom that is 5 feet long. I’m only 5’6 I’m gonna need a bigger step stool! But it’s gonna be fun
Been waiting for your upgrade! Awesome!! You have motivated me to completely re do my 180 to a predator Hap! And it’s awesome! I love it! Congratulations man!!
Great video! I love your tank. I have a 240 gallon and use the ultra zero with a 1” hose. I drain 80% in about 15 minutes, and I use the same setup to fill it in about 20-30. It would go faster, but the faucet in the tub can’t keep up because the pump is too fast. I angle the return hose against the front panel and it isn’t too strong for the fish. They love it actually. Anyway, the ultra zero is a lot faster with a 1” hose than the python hose.
Awesome pump I’ll have to check that out one thing I really hate about the python is wasting water to use the suction and I love those fluval heaters but man are they $$ one of you need to get a 350 gallon lol
Great tank! Well done. I have a very similar tank build underway and had a question for you regarding your background. What background do you prefer, the current background where some of the back is left open or your previous background that is a larger sheet that covers the entire back? Any pros and cons you can discuss to help me make my decision? Appreciate it!
I would love to have a tank like this its just beautiful, simple and there's so much action especially when feeding! If you don't mind me asking how much does this entire system cost? cause id love to build something similar someday.
Great video. I disagree about that python tube being the right size for your tank. You can order a longer one from Amazon. I had to for my 150 gallon tank. Makes life so much easier. You should check it out.
Love it! Question, I have a young Hap tank and I really like the Gar! you noted in a previous video that the gar isn’t much of a defender of position do you think having more than one male would be a bad idea?
Thanks! It could likely be done since they're less aggressive than some of the other haps. I've had a few male Hawks together even, and they have gotten along. I think you'll be just fine with to male Gar
Most were bought when very small, around 1 inch. I’ve grown them up for years. Original video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-39KxzRwihJE.html
Got a question for you guys, today I got 4 new mbuna for my 75 gallon aquarium. Noticed after a few hours of them being in the aquarium they started swimming up and down the glass. They don't do it all the time. What does it mean when they do this? Is this something that I should be concerned about?
@@CichlidBros thanks! Yea ammonia and nitrite are at zero. It had me worried because I thought something was wrong with them. They seem to be doing it less now
