The reason why Dr. Strange couldn't trap Thanos in the mirror dimension is because he had both the Space and Reality stone that time. He could manipulate space and reality, which means trapping him in the mirror dimension would've been ineffective.

I once heard that there were two sides to being Spider-Man: 1. He always tries to help people no matter what. 2. He also happens to have the absolute worst luck in the universe.

The small redemption Andrew Garfield got from catching MJ and actually saving them is genuinely emotional. You can almost feel that Peter had been planning out and constantly thinking of what he could have done differently to save her life and now he can actually do it.

The Spidermen always hold back their hits because they're just too strong they could break all their opponent's bones in one blow ; so yeah, Peter was holding back back at Happy's place. That's why the final fight hits different ; he's so pissed he doesn't hold back against Norman out of pure wrath

Fun fact: Almost every iteration of Spider-Man holds back, pulling all their punches, because he is so strong he could break nearly all your bones with a single punch. One version, Superior Spider-Man, was Otto Octavius taking over after a mind switch and took up the mantle to be a better Spider-Man, a "Superior" one. Strange did take Thanos to the mirror dimension. Thanos instantly shattered thru it with the stones

Hey just wanted say that dr strange did try to send thanos to the dimension if you notice during the fight strange throws a glass like substance at thanos which thanos proceeds to shatter with a punch, he just couldnt get thanos inside

I'm not sure about space but everyone on Earth memory has been erased including technology like E.D.I.T.H which uses biometric identification which is why he needed to make its own suit also he didn't need a advance suit. Also it's only people and things that can match Peter Face to his name but things that has only his name he still has like his birth certificate.

26:33 "Where was this (mirror dimension) when he fought Thanos" Dr Strange attempted to use this during the fight on Titan. Thanos used one or more of the stones to somehow nullify or counter it. I'd have to rewatch IW, but you can see him cast the cracked glass/mirror looking effect at Thanos, which would have put him in the mirror dimension had it connected.

Tom’s spidey may have more experience, but he usually has help.. Tobey and Andrew (apart from Harry in spiderman 3) usually do things on their own.. Andrew gets some help from Gwen too

The amount of people who dont get the reference of toby messing up his back after falling off a building is sad... but i loved watching you guys be taken by surprise everytime a new character came into the story

I just had a thought, people still remember Spider-Man because Happy said he knew May Parker through Spider-Man, so technically MJ would still be dating Spider-Man but she just wouldn’t know who Spider-Man is behind the mask

The Daredevil Charlie Cox you saw isn't the same one from the Netflix shows those are still it's own thing and not connected to the MCU. He's here because he's one of the few actors Marvel is bringing over for a soft reboot since the Netflix shows got canceled.

None of them were in the loop on the previous movie 27:07 also, Strange didn’t try this with Thanos, likely because he already had the Reality stone by the time they fought. Would bet he tried it in one of his simulations, and got clapped.

you can tell they couldn't get everyone together Both of Sandman and Lizards transformations back to human are just edits of scenes they filmed in their last movie. Sandman's is basically the end of the subway fights, when he is falling apart, turning into mud, played in reverse and a new cgi job. Lizard's is actually an alternate take of his transformation back to human from amazing spiderman thats why beyond those bits, they are completely cgi, despite sandman's usual ability to look normal they were never on set, they just did voice work

Dr Strange tried to bring Thanos to the Mirror Dimension but when he sent it towards him Thanod punched through it amd smashed it to pieces.

He never thought about just telling them again. They were hiding out, they were safe. Until they brought all the villains back to the hide out.

I liked that people thought it was harry when green goblin appeared on the bridge and we know that Harry has not used the green goblin suit

I wouldn't necessarily write off Ned's villain comment. While quite different the Ned Leeds in the comics went on to be one of several characters to take on the Hobgoblin persona.

Oh dang. If his theory on Ned becoming Peter's enemy gets confirmed for the MCU in the future, it'll age well cause if I recall in the comics... Ned does become the Hobgoblin. And then after some changes in the writing, he becomes Hobgoblin after being brainwashed by the "previous" one.

Maybe the best live action Spider-Man movie ever. Don't know how you top this going forward. As to why Goblin beat Peter in this world. Peter never beat Goblin in fight in the original trilogy. The glider killed him after Goblin beat the crap out of Peter, and Goblin got over confident, and Peter got a quick burst, but nothing like what Peter did to Goblin here.

MCU is very trash right now, but i think the next spiderman movies will be peak. They have prepared tom hollands spiderman perfectly to become the real spiderman now. No tony, no happy, no aunt may, no dr strange. Just Peter Parker, all alone, trying to do the right things everybody knew he was destined to do

The experience of seeing all this in the cinema was so surreal. One of the best cinema experiences of my entire life and it brought to life all the things I wanted to see for a long time and it was easily my favourite movie of 2021 and one of my top 3 MCU movies ever.

Ned is actually going to be a villain eventually. In the comics, the actor playing "Ned" is Ned Leeds who becomes the Hobgoblin. The difference between him and the Green Goblin in the comics if I'm not mistaken uses magic and this movie sets that up!!

I have to say it here because I've yet to see somebody recognize it, but listen closely to the music that plays during the whole scene when Dr Strange has to cast the spell to make everybody forget Peter at the end of the movie. It's a sad-toned version of one of the main themes of the film, but it uses small snips of the tracks that played when Tony Stark died and at his funeral. I thought that was incredible use of music and very symbolic of Peter maturing into himself and, in terms that Cap and Tony would recognize, "making the sacrifice play" that those who read comics would expect our selfless Spiderman to do. EXCELLENT use of music. I recognized the theme when I first saw the movie in theaters, and it REALLY added to the emotion of the scene for me!
