I really don't understand why you would video yourself using your mobile phone while driving and at moments looking directly at the phone and generally being distracted. There was someone sitting next to you who could have held the camera while you spoke and kept your eyes on the road. I love the content you put out and this is unusual so please stay safe in the future.
@@googadisbeotches9360 a person literally died when he was distracted on his phone in a tesla while it was in autopilot! tesla or not you should always keep your eyes on the road at all times..
I highly doubt it will be that 'cheap' in the US, just checked online and the base List Price here in Germany is 93k euros which is currently already approx 110k USD. So my guess is fully loaded this car will easily set you back 200k USD or even more who knows.
@@MrDennis170 Yeah I was going to say that, if you look at the current prices for the regular s class they start at like 130k Canadian, I bet it’ll be priced at about a maybach.
In the future in big cities like NYC, Philly or Chicago, never ever in a million years park your car outside of where you’re shopping. If you park your car in some random grocery store lot and walk off the lot, the hired spotters will see that and will snatch the car and you’ll have to pay massive fines for the tow and storage. I’m stunned you lucked out with this place and they didn’t tow it. Like honestly you have no idea how much you lucked out lol
I honestly do not blame you for choosing a MB from a Tesla. I have 2 Teslas, and my 2021 Model X really sucks, even after 6 years in production they do not know anything about finishing and costumer service. I had 2 MB and they do things right. My only concern is the Charger network. Tesla has that down.
The interior is amazing. For me, the jury is still out for the exterior. I will save that when I see it in person. One question I have, does the automatic doors have sensors like the Model X? Last thing I want to do, is put a dent on the door when I open it next to another car close to mine.
Yeah, those automatic doors, the lighting, the dashboard screens, heads-up display, and unique "driving experience" - I think you have found my dream car too...
We had mercedes in our family since the 80s . We had nothing but elegance, reliability and exceptional service. This by the far the best ev in the market hands down
Oh man i wish you could have done a meetup while in Philly. Im in DE and would have been a cool opportunity. Maybe next time without the top secret car!
As tested, north of $150k. Just spec a regular S-class with nice features, then consider the EQS is even nicer, and there's no way this comes out under 150k.
More like against the lucid air and maybe the Audi e tron gt rs. 🤔 The plaid+ whenever the heck it finally arrives? Will whoop all of em on a track. Possibly on range to. Maybe Elon will get his people to really up the interior quality on the plaid+since it was delayed again. 😁
If Tesla can get interior quality down, I think they can continue to dominate the EV market. Right now their software is absolutely amazing but fit and finish isn’t the best. This Mercedes is kinda the opposite (as shown is MKBHD’s video on the EQS)
It's a Mercedes, it is designed to be comfy - they could easily make it go faster from 0-60 mph, but they won't, because they don't want to. But i'm pretty sure that the AMG version will be a bit quicker. :)
It is amazing what the pressure form Tesla did to the car making industry. I feel that this level of luxury of this car would be unheard at this price if not for the Model S. They priced the model S to out compete gas cars and ended up taking the market share form luxury brands. Now luxury cars are cheaper and fantastic.
That car looks so awesome and I want one! Only thing I don't like from what I've seen is that the screen seems laggy/low refresh rate and the "hey mercedes" assistant is pretty slow. If they fixed that before selling it I would want one even more.
Mercedes is a legend... one thing on my bucket list is to drive one of any Electric car. sadly to say they're all expensive and here at the Philippines you can't drive it 'cause there is no Charging station and The Law is still not pass for electric car, we have Electric Jeep here which only can go at max 60 k/hr and all electric vehicle here are classified as Slow moving Vehicle. so, yeah... I really love how What's Inside? and What's Inside? Family bringing this kind of content in the world. Keep up the Good Work, I really enjoy your video.
@@Shanboss277 But you can see that his lead is shrinking quickly. Its just a matter of time that the german car manufactures sell more and better cars then Tesla.
"Right now we have a police escort helping us through the Lincoln Tunnel." As if it happened daily. But the car looks good. A competitor of Ford and Tesla.
Wow that was an odd comercial break choice .. went from dan talking to the Mercedes to princess Leah saying 'aren't you a little short to be a stormtrooper?' .. thank you Disney+ for that laugh...
I like the car but non-tesla charging infrastructure in america sux. The car maybe be better than a model S but you may not have the same long distance capability
I'm waiting for the Hummer ev in the SUV model. I fall in love w/that EV models from Chevy when Zack did his video & yes I watched your video of the Hummer ev too. Chris from Missouri
i would absolutely choose an EQS over a Tesla Model S. Not just because I want to grow up to be a car designer at Mercedes-Benz, but also because it's- the best of the best :)
What happened to a car being a car, who cares if it can call people, watch movies, give me GPS directions, etc. Guess what, my phone does too. I want to know longevity, reliability, how it does in rain, how it does in sub 0 temps, and how long the battery actually does when you drive like a normal human not a grandpa.
