My lifelong dream is finally coming to fruition. Designed and assembled this while still holding a full time job with the help of my mom, dad and a select few close friends. It takes sheer determination and pure tenacity to take on something like this. Especially for someone with almost no residential construction experience. This video brings us to the weather tight structure. I will follow up with another in the spring when the porch, deck and interior are complete and I move in. After designing this home in AutoCad, I passed the plans off to Katahdin Cedar Log Homes of Oakfield Maine and they made my dream into reality. I just had to put it together. Certainly looks easy watching the video but I can assure you this was a tremendous undertaking.
