I developed dystonia in 2015. I attended Dr. Farias's workshop in 2016. By meditating daily for several months I fully recovered. If somebody had told me prior to my own experience that such thing is possible, I would have laughed at them, but look at me now! I have been in full remission and doing great for 6 years!

Can you tell us more details about your dystonia? What type of dystonia you had? And Do you have to do exercises all these years after recovery to maintain your recovery ? Thank you very much for your information! It is such a precious insight for me!

@@panoskouvaris9732 My dystonia was just one of the symptoms of CRPS (complex regional pain syndrome) in both hands and more mildly in feet. You need to recognize that dystonia is a psychosomatic condition, which is consistent with Dr. Farias method. Once you understand that, you are no longer scared and you know you can retrain your brain. My method was mostly meditation and mindfulness, but it cannot be fully described in a short post here.

I have it in my head and shoulder, my shoulder goes up and my head turns to the side into my shoulder. My GP referred me in 2015 8 & half years later I got an appointment with a neurological doctor who gave me botox injections this hasn't worked very well I just had the 2nd round of injections 3 weeks ago and it's actually worse. I've been thinking about doing the online course. I'm in Ireland were waiting lists your put on for medical care can take years. I'm just a bit worried about signing up, it's not giving any information on the program until I pay. I thought when it says a program to suit you for your problem I could get some information on what's involved before I pay.

I’m doing Dr. Farias workshop now. $35 a month for online courses. They have a lot to offer. I have doing it 2 weeks. I plan on keeping it up . Good luck all

Hey. Thank you for these videos. It's been a blessing to find videos on this for dystonia. I've been experiencing it in my eyes and it seems that Dr. Faria's overall of treating dystonia might be useful for my problems. I've been getting very down about this but Dr. Faria's program is giving me hope.

Yo tengo 6 meses con Distonía Cervical ya me vieron traumatólogos, fisiatras y neurólogos. Tome toda clase de tratamiento. Incluso para Parkinson que lo que hace es mas daño. Ahora estoy con terapias alternativas naturópata. Efectivamente el stress complica mas los síntomas. Botox ya me colocaron 2 veces. Perdida de dinero. No hacen efecto. Yo recomiendo control mental y emocional, meditación y medicina alternativa hasta que los médicos se pongan de acuerdo y entiendan que la causa y como controlarla

I have DYT11 Dystonia. Left neck, arm and hand are affected and cognitive deficits are present. Study in 2006 suggested possibility that white matter in the brain exhibits the capacity for activity-dependent plasticity after Botox injections in patients with focal dytonia. I received botulinum toxin injections in my arm and neck and my cognition returned to normal. How about that for scientific advancement!

Hi, I'm from India and I've been suffering from dystonia for 10 years. In India, there is no specific treatment for dystonia other than botox, nor is there awareness among people. Please help me in overcoming this illness.
