My Dad passed a few weeks ago. Watching you guys is a bit nostalgic for me. Nice bull but, the true trophy for me would be time together. Beautiful day.
Oh wow! I could just close my eyes and listen to that one over and over. Probably one of the best hunts I have seen (and heard). I think any elk hunter alive would love to have had that experience. Congratulations on closing the deal.
I agree "the size of the bull doesnt define the hunt." What a great experience with your family and friends. Now you can take those lessons learned and apply it to the next hunt and continue to be successful! Thanks for sharing!
Excellent job! Sometimes being lucky is better than being good. That is all part of bowhunting. Ground shrinkage is also real and you have nothing to be upset about. Great bull, great experience, and great company. Can’t hardly beat that hunt with a lucky horseshoe in your pack.
Great shoot Isaac! Nice bull. He was worth the wait. Very nice frontal shot. I wish John would have taken more pictures of him with u. Show more of U and the bull next time. Great calling Corey. Great photos John!
That was an awesome hunt with all the bugles and the time spent together will forever be a special memory for both of you. That was a great bull by anybody’s standards. Fun hunt. Thanks to RMEF, Mt Opps,Yeti and Peax’s,s for sponsoring these video’s Looking forward to the next one.
Great hunt fella's! Time spent together is priceless! I've had the good fortune to be in the middle of an elk melee like that a few times. You literally can't count the bugles. You see and hear things you didn't even know elk did! The last few years I can almost count on one hand the bugles Iv'e heard. Remember these times, they're special! Congratulations on a great bull!
Spending time with your dad, and the amount of knowledge you received from him definitely outweighs the size of the bull. Trust me. Great bull. And I need to borrow that horseshoe when you get a chance, after a good cleaning of course.
That unit is loaded with elk and that bugling frenzy was awesome! Amazing call in and great arrow placement even if you didn’t intend to shoot. Great video
Congratulations young man!! It may not have been the bull you wanted but that hunt was epic and you got to do it with your dad. That means so much more. Thanks for taking us along.
Congratulations. I like a lot of people were probably thinking Shoot! Shoot! The fact that you were trying to decide if you wanted to shoot changes things, but it would be hard to pass up. Great hunting series and congratulations to you both.
Congratulations on the Hunt. The bugleing was awesome. I really enjoy watching family and friends hunting together. Great video work John. God's Blessings on all of your adventures
Hey!! That is a great bull to end a great day!! U should be proud. Just think of all the memories you made, hunting with ur dad, and John. You will never forget a day like that! Be proud young man! You did good!! Well done! Congratulations!!
What an awesome hunt, a trophy is in the eye of the beholder. The true trophy here is time spent with your dad cherish every moment you have to do so. Great hunt Isaac. What a beautiful bull And a memory that you will have to last a lifetime. God bless keep on keeping on.
Congratulations that was an awesome bull. It is my hope I fill my first Elk this September! I have been patiently waiting for 20 plus years. What lucky shot! That horse shoe is firmly planted!😂excellent work gentleman! 🔥
What a hunt! A father getting to share that experience with his son. I can’t imagine it gets better than that. And the elk hunting was pretty fair too! Great bull Issac! Thanks guys for taking us along!
Awesome job Isaac, Corey and John. Even though he took the same bull that he could have taken the first day and was smaller than a couple others he passed, you all wouldn’t have had such a great experience and truly enjoyed the opportunity there if he would have taken him the first day. I am happy for you all to get to experience all the epic action and bugles together. Cherish those moments and memories together when you can. You never know what tomorrow brings. God bless and thanks for sharing this lucky 🍀 horseshoe of a hunt with us.
That was a great hunt! The morning action was off the chart. It was easy to tell what kind of experience this was by the look on Isaac's face. Congratulations on a well earned bull Isaac.
What a great hunt and experience! Be thankful for the opportunity to hunt together, and the action! Last year I could count the number of bugles I heard on one hand! Congratulations!
What an incredible episode I’m only half way through this and it has my full attention! It takes me back to some very special times I’ve had my self in the elk woods! Great camera work and patience! You have a great young man right there!
As a Roosevelt hunter on the Oregon coast, this shit is incredible to me. I will likely never hear as many bugles in my lifetime as you heard that single morning. What also struck me was how far you could see! Just crazy stuff really. Really awesome video.
I'm in North Idaho and I feel the same. Ive been out 12 times this year and the only time you hear or see a bull is when you call them in to shooting distance which has been three for the year. They don't even make a sound until you're within a hundred yards anyway. Also possible I'm retarded and don't know what I'm doing lol
@@officialstephencoe when I wrote that comment I couldn’t have possibly know what a wild year this would turn out to be. I still haven’t closed the deal but I’ve had so much action it’s wild. The coast is in a rut frenzy right now
@@officialstephencoe thanks man. Still no luck. Came to full draw twice on a bull but I couldn’t get him to stop moving. He was HOT! I even whistled at him and he didn’t notice 🤣
We all dream of days like that. An elk in the freezer beats tag soup any day... every elk is a trophy. You certainly got blessed with that shot, enjoy the fact he ended up in your hands!
I know it's frustrating for you but it gives me encouragement to see you get bulls hot and bothered but not willing to close for a shot opportunity because I struggle with the same problem and I thought it was just a me problem.
I wish I had a surround sound system! Jezz o Pete! That was crazy! Congrats to you senor on an awesome elk/hunt. I look forward to hunts like this with my kiddos!
Great video. Love seeing how close you guys are. The love definitely comes thru. Issac definitely owns that lucky horse shoe. Getting drawn first then having the broadside shot turn into a perfect frontal shot. Looking forward to the next hunt vid.
Unbelievable footage guys. Good job. I’ve been fortunate to experience that kind of morning a couple of times in draw units here in Utah. I think all the elk share a feeding area and then it’s a total mess try to get everyone lined back out for the bedding area. It’s a super unreal experience and one to remember forever, also one to keep you going next year.
Great hunt. I know this was a unit that's hard to draw so holding out for a big one is understandable, but Isaac's bull was quite nice with a bow. Thanks for letting us tag along.
I have never heard anything like that on any video or in person that I can recall. Amazing! Great footage of something most of us may never experience! Great bull! Congrats! Like the saying goes, "I'd rather be lucky than good". Lucky the arrow went where it did on the spin but luck plays a part as well!
Congrats that was awesome my heart rate went up and I feel excited for you. having been invested in that herd in the 80s it gives me a lot of joy seeing what it has turned into
All experiences around the shot are worth every second spending outdoors. I would give everything, to experience that hunt, even as a camera men!! BUT, i understand the young hunter, with a big Bull in mind and not be able to harvest him!! I love your channel with exotic animals for hinters from europe like elk
So, awesome, you're getting to hunt together more. i hunt with my son. we had some memorable moments like this.. nothing better than memories with family.
Great episode. Great shot. Coolest part was asking about Isaac’s blood sugars. Reminds me of hunting with my son. Been there a hundred times. On a trail or trying to get ahead of some thing and whispering “ Hey what’s your blood sugar. Eat something”
Awesome bull!!!! That there was some amazing footage, the bugles were crazy!!!! Pretty sure you coulda shot an arrow straight up and it woulda came down on a bull!!!! 😂
Oh my you really had my attention young man. I was glued to this hunt. In all the years I have hunted never ever had the privilege of a scream fest like this. Congratulations Issac that bull was meant to be yours.
