Rudy, my 3 year old Eclectus, can talk your leg off. He knows at least 35 phrases and words plus he loves telling my other birds to 'Be Quite' when they get too loud.
Yes they are. He can say a lot more and usually says them at the right time. When I drop something he says Ah Oh. When my other bird starts screaming he says Be Quiet.
So cute! I love the way eclectus parrots talk- they have some of the cutest voices, and they’re *so* smart! When I almost slept in too long this morning, mine started calling my name until I responded- I said “yes, what?”, and she responded “g’day good morning!” Also, just wondering, what caused the little gap in his head feathers at that time? Just a moult, I’m assuming? I was trying to figure it out throughout the video, but couldn’t quite catch a clear shot, and now I’m curious, haha.
