Now of course this wasn’t an Awful result... but lowkey it was definitely Bad... By request you can now 🧠 Buy My Full Economics Dissertation studentvlogs.bigcartel.com/ - let me know how you dissertations went!!!🙏🙏⚡️
In the US students generally do a "Senior Thesis" (not to be confused with a Masters Thesis) for your Bacherlors degree (B.Sc.) but not all Majors do it. Over here a dissertation is what you write to receive your PhD. A Thesis is written for the Masters degree (M.Sc.).
@@mattstyles4283 other modules probably drag it down. (makes sense cos you can spend ages perfecting a diss vs a few hours in an exam) there are modules at my uni whose avg mark is a first, (albeit a science not econ so in theory you can get any mark 0-100) but only like 35% or so get a first. also if it's optional (didn't quite get that in the video) it's probably the higher achievers that do one anyway.
You go Dylan!! I know exactly how it feels I've gotten my grades back as well and I feel the same way too, its okay I understand your disappointment on the bright side! YOU WORKED HARD! YOU GOT TO FINAL YEAR! YOU ARE A WINNER!
nah mate thats still class well done! i still have this ordeal left to do - will probs make a similar video when the time comes - keep up the videos man!
do not be sad.humans exertions could not be rewarded fairly.even if we think so.and remember we are not numbers or grades .we are more than that.71 percent does not build to us a castle of satisfaction and stability ☺☺😊😄.
Why did you not do any internships during summers? I am on my second summer internship in private equity and the skills you learn as an Analyst help a lot!
As a freshman in uni (first year), I had to take a new majors seminar where we pretty much had to do a mini dissertation (roughly 10 pages). And it was so much work becos I've never taken econometrics (something you do in your third year), so there was a lot of learning I had to do. So I feel ya and I hope it all goes well.
Ive just finished first year at Newcastle Uni (Econ BSc) and didn’t do maths A level. If you’re willing to work at it and attend all your seminars and lectures for maths it’s rly do able to catch up the a level maths.
Hello...am glad to hear from u... Am actually waiting for my 2nd yr result.... Meanwhile thinking of a title...which is so hard...dunno whr to start...how to find one😓😥😥 any more advice🔐
@@thesonofasniper sometimes it depends on the course. At my uni on my course its compulsory, but on very similar courses its a choice and you can just choose to do extra modules instead.
Good work Dylan, I have been a huge fan of yours since you were born. Keep making these awesome videos! Let’s be best friends (hope you can do a shout me out in your next video) 😂
Hi, I'm wondering about this: 1) Would a topic based on something outside the UK be considered difficult to do? If let's say, the information about that topic is plenty but little is translated in English. 2) Do you also need to make a powerpoint presentation for the dissertation?
I did my dissertation on the environmental impact of high-speed rail in Spain and I would honestly advise AGAINST doing a topic concerning a non-English speaking country if you do not have a decent command of the local language - enough to understand studies and technical documents in that language. Most of the official statistics and major government publications might be translated into English but these are rarely enough to do a profound study on anything. Some of the key info I based my conclusions on I was only able to find in Spanish. :)
I’m currently studying economics in the US and I want to study abroad. Is there anywhere you would recommend? I’m currently looking at the London School of Economics since they have a summer program
I study at Financial Mathematics at the LSE. Personally I enjoy the city-great nightlife, wide variety of cuisine etc. I do enjoy the LSE some great people and it’s very international. Maybe not the time to travel though.
