Hello Amanda , I would like to know if we are selected for emirates crew can we have a training under the emirate company? Otherwise should we apply for a cabin crew training or any other aviation training programs before we apply for the crew? Should we pay for the training darling?

You don't have to apply or pay for anything! If you get chosen, then it's all on them :)

Hey there 1st time viewing your channel. Im not sure if youre aware but the audio is bad sounds like your in a large hall. Only time I could make out what you were saying was the video clip of your interview... Otherwise great video hope to see more

Love her videos but this was terrible. Couldn't understand a word he said. Too much echo in room. I was very interested in listening to this video especially but so disappointed it was a waste of time I didn't understand a word he said. Can you make another video on your experience applying for the job and then getting the job, without your friend?

I was eliminated first round my first 2times, then third go, went to final but unfortunately didn’t get it. I’m nervous to try again if I’d even make it to final again. (And then the anticipation of GC or “best wishes” email) However we were told the wait is now 3 months so I will keep trying ! And one day be part of emirates 😍

It honestly depends on the airline, emirates is a huge international airline so it was a lot harder than virgin my first airline which is a smaller domestic!

Hey lovely! I have heard people getting hired that are SLIGHTLY less than the requirement (160cm ) so as long as your can reach 212cm I’d try for it, just make sure you put 160cm on the application otherwise you will be overlooked! They’ll measure height on the open day so you’ll know straight if they’ll accept it or not then 🙌🏼 hope that helps xx

This video was so great and very informative! I was just wondering, since you work for Emerites now, do you live in Dubai? Its been a bit of a dream of mine to be a flight attendent for a while but i not sure how it works in terms of the living situation (sorry if thats a weird way to phrase it) Also I know there are open days in Sydney, Melb, etc. Just a little confused on how they work and what you actually do there.

Hello! So yes, everyone working for emirates as cabin crew have to live in Dubai! They provide company accomodation that’s shared with same gender as you up to 2 other people, you have your own rooms and bathrooms, but shared living, kitchen! So to be able to fly for emirates you do have have move to the UAE

Hi Amanda! I fly a lot and I usually pepper FAs with many questions about random things. 😅(scheduling, a destination, planes …etc). Thanks for all the insights. I pardon you in advance of my nosey questions, 😂 if you answer following qs! As an Aussie, do you list Australia always in your scheduling? Is there a leeway for you to choose a specific city? Does other FAs (in general) prefer their home nations in their schedule ? I assume it’s tough for you considering the long duration of Aussie flights!😢 Thx!

Hey Hussein! Loving your passion for the aviation industry! unfortunately Emirates scheduling isn’t as nice as other airlines, there’s just too many flights and destinations! It’s a blessing and a curse! A lot of the time we don’t get what we request, so I’ve only managed to get 2 Aus layovers in a year and a half 😅

Like maximum height limit? I read somewhere it’s (185cm) Or minimum? She said it’s (160cm) is a minimum but slightly lower is fine so long you can reach 212cm on tiptoes (but flat feet).
