Hi, Lindsay! Funny story! I had been watching other people's videos where they were reading Heartstopper IV, and I just assumed that it was out! Turns out I was tragically wrong, since it looks like it won't come out until December of this year in the US. I'm going to have to pick a different book for this prompt, unfortunately. :( If you have any suggestions for a book with a "soft" character, let me know! :)
One of my August books is The Remarkable Journey of Coyote Sunrise - I've known about it from you, thank you so much for this recommendation, Kristin! And I heard such an amazing things about this one - The Summer of Salt by Katrina Leno, so it's on my this month tbr, too :) I haven't participated in any readathons for a long time, my favourite was Beautiful Pages' one - I ended up picking up such a great books for it :D There are the fifth volume in the Heartstopper series, it's not yet published though, it says on Goodreads: scheduled to release in 2022 It Ends with Us is also on my list of books to read, I'd love to hear your thoughts on it when you get to reading it! This series is so adorable - the best stories of summer and family and time in the sun! Re-reading them at the moment, they make me happy by bringing back those adventurous childhood summers :) Oh thank you, Kristin! I rarely read romances - during Christmastime mainly, since the majority of Christmas books are centered around romantic relationships :) But I heard good things about It Ends With Us from people with a similar to mine taste. I am not that organized or spontaneous in regards to my reading. Im more of a mood reader and read all sorts of genres depending on my mood. lol. Im more on a dark/taboo romance right now.
