I have seen so many submissions, and this is my favourite idea. Only thing I felt was that the horse moves to the side a bit too fast but after watching it a few times, I guess it's not that bad. This is probably the closest I've seen to my idea. I had planned to add a volcano which shoots flowers might not have time for it

Thanks very much! Yeah it's probably not perfect. I'm not a great animator and I had some technical issues with the rig and parenting which made it very hard to tweak it all later once the first animation stage was done. A good learning experience for next time!

Very cool work. I agree seeing others' work makes it seem like there is no sense in trying, but you never know when they're looking for something special. I learned so much box modeling in Blender (relatively speaking) that I was glad to see your build process was more like how I expect things can be modeled. Good luck!

Yep! The foreground is blender and the smoke simcof the volcano but the rest is a 2.5D matte painting in Nuke

just add smoke trails to fireball and also add some camera shake and a particle effects when it hits the ground like kicking up mud and rocks.

There's already smoke on the fireballs! You can see it streaking across the sky before they land. I didn't realise you could add camera shake until after I submitted. I thought the camera had to stay exactly how it was provided

Thanks! That's Nuke. It's the most popular professional compositing software. It's not actually 3D software but it has a very good 3D system for using geo and projections etc

I didn't realise we could add camera shake until after I submitted sadly. I thought you had to stick to the camera move exactly as it came in the project files
