Hoping the NB power kit I got will be more reliable. Compared to your build, I was surprised to see they have since upgraded a lot in their standard kits (KKE shocks, EE style lightweight frame, inverter for lights, connectors, larger gauge battery wire, etc). I'm thinking about cutting an intake vent just to keep airflow through the battery compartment with the Texas heat. Trying to learn from you as the parts come in, and thank you for the great content!
Dam I hate that I had my controller on a rack and all of a sudden it just shut down luckily I was about a block from my house and realized that the rack had come off and pulled the throttle cable out bummer
Hey I love your build videos, just a quick question though. When you order your parts through NB Power, how do you know what to ask for? I cant find any catalog of what they sell, so i know what to message them on whatsapp. Any advice would be appreciated, Keep the videos up!
*Tommy do you use regen braking going downhill to slowdown/stop assist. Another question about how far can u go doing about 50 mph before motor heats up/cut off protection kicks in just curious, I got 2600 miles on my bike q273 3t 12000w 41ah LG battery mine cut off once after riding 2hrs then 45-50 mph for 5 miles it momentarily cut off*
I just put all of my build into a new frame and my motor cable gave me a big pop as soon as I hooked up the battery 😅😅 I hate how those wires are at a pinch point… can someone design this better?! 😅😅
It might be just the angle of the video but it seems like your front wheel is kind of bent looking at the fork when you have it on its side laying down?
This is an easy fix, not really broken. Most likely a disconnected cable, or need to reseat one of the controllers... especially with the sudden symptom. 7:10
