Your collection is by far one of the best I've seen and you are making me itch to buy more....since May I have added 17 new perfumes and 6 new oils to my collection and I can't stop
Hi Tara, I'll be honest and say that I get intimidated by collection videos. I know it's broken down in parts to help, but then I have commitment issues to finishing the series haha. This was enjoyable. Great collection. I look forward to checking out the other videos.
I feel you! I am just now getting part four up. It's a task for sure, but it is pretty fun and people seem to like it. Thank you so much! If you ever do feel up to it, I would love to see your collection as well!
Your collection is insane i am so jealous. lol. I have been so enjoying watching these can't wait to watch Part 4. You do an amazing job describing your fragrances. I just subscribed. Well done.
A very clever way to deliver your entire collection, alphabetically 👌. Very enjoyable videos indeed! What an amazing collection you have, exquisite taste. I have two from Maison Lancome. Roses Berberanza and Jasmine Marzipan. I didn't really care for Parfait de Roses, it went a tad sour on my skin. I also had Figues and Argumes but sold it as the white florals aspect gave me a headache unfortunately. I'm hoping to do my own collection video soon. X
Thank you, Lizzie! Oh, I can't wait to see yours! I know you'll have some things I'll want to try! I agree about the Parfait de Roses. It's isn't bad on me, but does go a touch sour. If I decide to get anymore from that line I am going to get rid of Parfait de Roses as it's my least favorite that I have right now. Amazingly the white florals in the fig one don't bother me, but often times white floral do give me headaches or just smell unpleasant to me.
Thank you so much, Ami! That means a lot, especially coming from you! Yes, Fancy is a great one for bed. Really makes me feel comforted. Thanks again!!!
I finally got the notification that fragrancebuy.ca had iris dragees back in stock so I grabbed it for cheaper than anywhere else I’ve seen it! So so excited to get a full bottle of it I’ve been nursing that decant I bought from you ☺️❤️
Thank you, Marina! I like that one as well, but don't reach for jasmine fragrances much. I think for many people it's one of the best from the line, though!
I’m really enjoying your content! Somewhat related to your collection, but it would be interesting to see what your favourite fragrances are for each season. Or even to see what your favourite fragrances/most worn fragrances are each month.
The Maison Lancome line is fantastic. My favorite is Lavandes Trianon. Roses Berberanza is so interesting with that pistachio note. Oud Bouquet is gorgeous. Santal Kardamon smells better on me than on Hillorie LOL
Another fabulous video, executed beautifully, Agree regarding Jo Malone, I try to buy when travelling to get duty free price, (although of course that’s not happening for a while). 💛
I love Kenzo jungle, but i wear it all year all the time, even to the gym. My version is from the 00s, with the oval sticker, so it's sweeter and softer than the current (rectangular sticker) version.
That Viva La Juicy bottle is actually really nice, I like it :D Myrhh & Tonka is beautiful. Have you tried Vetiver & Golden Vanilla? The performance is quite good for Jo Malone.
Lovely collection. I have and love wood sage and sea salt. Def does not last as long as I would like but I adore it. I’m almost done with my third bottle. May add the body cream next time I’ve heard good things about Noir Equix from L’artissan.
Yes, I had the body cream when I first got Wood Sage and it helped a bit but is also pricey so I didn't repurchase. It's really nice, though! Thanks, Stacy!
Loved seeing part of your collection! I’ll go watch the others too! I have a small love don’t be shy on the way and I want the Back to black!! Enjoyed this!
Damn girl! Your collection is mad! lol! Have you tried any of the other Kilians (ball bottles)? I also have Princess but I'm curious to know what you think of the others in that collection. Noir Exquis is another one of my favorites, I love combination of chestnut and coffee with the vanilla. I think you would enjoy it more in the winter. If you don't like it, put it to the side, I'd gladly buy it from you. 😅 And like Timbuktu, it's also made by Bertrand Duchaufour. ...Also, do you have that lip-sync battle on video. I need to see it!
Hey! Sorry, got behind on RU-vid. I did get a little sample set of four of the ball bottle Kilian fragrances from Sephora, but all I really remember was that Princess was the only one I wanted in a full bottle. I don't think I disliked the others, but maybe wasn't all that excited about them. And yes, I think Noir Exquis will be great in the winter. Our AC went out and it's been insanely hot, so I haven't even bothered trying that one yet. Just a bunch of freshies for me lately. Oh, and yes I do believe a video exists somewhere in the depths of RU-vid, but I'll message you that individually instead of broadcasting it. LOL!
@@Olfactofiles Ah ok, that's for your insight on the Kilian balls. I'm glad you got your AC fixed. I can't imagine life here without it. OMG! I will be checking that lip-sync out!
Thanks! Yes, it is. It comes with 3 or 4 little vials, but they're just screw top glass vials, so once they are empty you can either refill with the same fragrances or clean them out with rubbing alcohol and put a different fragrance in them. Very handy!
After watching this video and hearing Amber Stuart's review of 'Unknown Pleasures', I ordered the sample set from Kerosene and I love this fragrance! It smells wonderful, they have some great fragrances - I also love 'Follow', it smells like the most delicious cup or freshly brewed coffee with sugar and cream. I know some people may not want to smell like that, but I love it, and I rarely drink coffee, just love the smell of it. Take care, Ginny😘😘😘
I agree! I drink a ton of coffee, though! Lol! I like coffee notes in fragrance, but it's not for everyone. I do think I'll probably get Follow at some point. It's really good! Thanks, Ginny!
Thank you! Don't give up. Fragrancebuy.ca had it in stock briefly a month or two ago. Set a notification in case they get anymore. It is hard to find, though.
Would love to see a video on lavender, and particularly if there’s anything that comes close to lavandes Trianon that you’ve come across since it’s been discontinued 😥🙏🙏
More beauties! I am now hunting down Iris Dragee; as soon as I heard you mention the almond note I wanted it. Lol. I love everything you have but I’m coveting the Lancômes. And I agree with every word you said regarding Lalique Soleil; it’s generally boring. I never wanted to say that but it is. It’s definitely the bottle (which I love) that sells it. 🙃 And I love your blouse and lipstick! 😊
I love JPG and I think it’s my favourite house ,I’m wearing Fancy tonight to bed and I am addicted to it ,every time I put it on I love it even more ,need to get a back up bottle of it . The viva la juicy is a fabulous bottle !! I would love a review on Back to black ! So many fragrances to smell ,they sound so delicious Looking forward to part 4 Hugs Frances 💖💖💖
Thank you, Frances! Yes, I love wearing Fancy to bed and completely agree about it being addictive. I'm a big fan of JPG fragrances (including some of the men's ones) as well.
I love Jo Malone’s Myrhh & Tonka, myrrh is one of my favorite notes. I would never touch their regular cologne line with a 10 foot pole, but their cologne intense line is another story. I want to try their Amber & Ginger Lily.
We definitely have very similar taste in fragrance 😍 I also just got Noir Exquis. Iris Dragees...is it gourmand or more floral? It’s next on my Maison Lancome wishlist, but iris is not my favorite floral note, so I am a bit undecided.
I bought a decant of iris dragees originally from Tara and fell in love with it! Highly suggest getting decants from her she has fantastic prices and is so organized! ☺️
I know, Emy! I doubt there are too many fragrances that we wouldn't agree on! Iris Dragees is pretty iris heavy, but it has a creaminess and is sweetened up a bit. It's not a lipstick type of iris to my nose, more in the line of Prada Infusion d'Iris if you've ever smelled that one.
LOL! Yes, I suppose that description doesn't help then. Yve said sometimes neroli smells like fruity peppbles to her, so it's probably the neroli in Love that is partially giving it that lemony fruity sugary smell.
Thank you so much! I've always enjoyed fragrances and probably had a small collection by my early 20s, but really started growing it more around 6 years ago. Probably in line with actually having some expendable income. :)
Yeah, we have a few the same but when you did your video I noticed that you had several that I don't have. Maybe together we could have the whole collection! Lol!
That's a tough question as I think they're all a bit more fall/winter type scents. I think Psychedelic Love works well in the spring, but I'm not sure I'd wear any of these on a hot day.
Oh, that's a tough one. Guerlain SDV for sure, then probably Tom Ford Lost Cherry, Kilian Back to Black, Merchant of Venice Arabesque, and Xerjoff Lira? That's today, though. LOL!
Olfactofiles Thank you! I am slowly building my mini-collection Lol I will definitely have to order some samples of the ones you mentioned to check them out. Where do you recommend the best place is to find samples of high-end scents?
