I just can’t get into Vetiver no matter hard I try. It comes off as very masculine to me. love gourmands; they are my absolute favorite. 💓 I’m into fruits for the summer. Very informative video Tara; this was great. 😊

Thanks, Deb! I like vetiver in general, but I do agree that it often makes a fragrance lean too masculine for me to wear. I have a candle I'm burning now that has vetiver in it, though, and I really enjoy it like that.

I like those a lot as well. I think Chypres and Fougeres are the only two I pretty consistently don't care for.

Thank you for this! I’m just getting back into exploring my love of fragrances again -- and loving the exploration. One question - when you identify the category with the main notes - Do you consider these the Base Notes? (I watched your other video.). I LOVE Carlisle by PDM - I would have to say it’s Woody with a hint of spice - due to the cardamon. How do you look at the notes and the categories? Thank you

My favorite fragrance category is definitely floriental! I love Tom Ford’s Velvet Orchid & Jean Paul Gaultier’s Classique Essence de Parfum

Nice! I have some sweeter oud fragrances that I really enjoy as well, but I can't wear really strong ouds as they tend to give me headaches.

I am a perfume lover, and have a large collection, but I have to say I still struggle with categorizing my scents - :) In general, though, I love florals, citrus scents, and gourmands (but prefer indie gourmands instead of things like Girl of Now, for example).
