That's definitely a collection to envy!! I think you'd look great in some dramatic flare jeans, ever try them? The trick is to only wear them with a heel and it looks so sophisticated and elongating for petites
Elana - Through watching your videos, I have bought my first Levi and Madewell jeans. They fit amazingly. This is the first time I bought a jean that fits me this well. It is all thanks to you. Thank you SO MUCH !
I have found your video to be extremely helpful recently while purchasing straight jeans from Madewell (1 style) and Levi (2 styles) . I am also 5ft dead on however my waist and hips are larger than yours (I have curvy measurements). I see that you have included you height, weight and (approximate waist size) however I feel like you should include your precise measurements for waist and hips to be able to help more individuals coming to your video for guidance. A 24in waist is a HUGE difference versus a 26 inch waist. Your hip measurement has the MOST bearing on what size you wear, not your waist. This will give us a better idea on how a particular style will fit. To give an example, my measurements are 38in bust 29in waist and 42in hip. American Eagle jeans size charts says a size 8- 28.5 in waist/38in hip, size 6- 27.5 waist/37in hip. & size 4-26.5in waist/36in hip… A size 10 falls off me (39in hip). In a jegging I wear a 6 or 8 depending on the wash (white tends to run smaller). In an “AE Strech Mom Jean” I wear a 6 except a particular style and wash they came out with I was a size 4, which is way off the size chart!! Meaning, someone who measures 26w &36 hip may need a 00 or a 0 in that particular size.
I have some jeans from express that are petite friendly. They have a short inseam. It’s 26” which is full length for me. I’m 4’11”. I love Levi’s, Abercrombie, WHBM. All great for petites.
Thanks, Elana, for all these wonderful high quality videos!!! I would like to know which is your size in Levi's 724 high rise straight, because I want to compare your size with mine to calculate my size with all those wonderful jeans you've showed in this video. Best regards from Costa Rica!
Is there a reason you consider light wash for your classic style? I've always thought of dark jeans as being more dressy. (I don't think I've worn a light wash since high school.) I recently bought 3 pairs of Levi's 721 (dark wash, black, and green) and 1 pair of 720 (mid-wash). I also have to cuff the 28" inseam, and I'm 5'3". The green pair I bought isn't quite denim, so I want to get them hemmed. I don't like to pay more than $40 for jeans. I work in a lab, so jeans are gonna get ruined with little acid holes over time.
Do you use special scissors when you cut the jeans? I also need a 25 or 26 inch length and so hard to find that length. I ONLY wear highrise and don't like to tuck blouses/tops in but wear them out. I am not as slender as you though and wear a Size 10 or Size 12 women' s. When you say you wear size 24, what size us that exactly? Size 5 or 7? I was a Size 5 or 7 when I was around your age (many moons ago) 🤗 Do you always get an exact even cut one both sides when you cut them? Are there some jeans that are hard to cut more then others?
Omg I have a small walk in closet + large dresser but it’s completely PACKED 😅😅😅 my job is purchasing and testing out clothing for you guys so I end up with a lot of clothing over time. Starting to donate stuff though 😊
I don’t! But they’re really wide jeans and they’re just not my personal fave for denim, and I think they’re too high waisted for my liking too :) I like a skinny/slim or straight jean!
Thanks for the great tips I enjoy your videos but your constant fiddling with your hair is very distractingYou literally touch your hair every two seconds
