Good timing; I just finished watching your base set showoff. As someone who's planning on not only collecting every Skylander, but every Toys-to-Life figure, this is an inspiration, to say the least. Cool video! :D
Love the collection. I was a big collector at first but tapped out shortly after the first game. Still have most of the first series chase variants sealed
The only chase variant I ever bought was the infamous red drill sergeant. Like many others I learned my lesson from him and didn’t decide to hunt for those.
Super cool! I haven't focused on collecting in-box Skylanders, I just get them if they're available and at a decent price. I was able to pick up an in-box Series 2 Trigger Happy and Giants for Xbox 360 Starter Pack, though both are in rough condition. My most recent pick up was from about a year ago being an in-box Drill Sergeant from Spyro's Adventure. None of these stick out as a favorite Skylander, but it's cool to have them in their original packaging (no tape either!).
Thanks for showing this off. I got into Skylanders late due but man I really wish Toys for Bob (now that they are independent again) would create a new mashup Skylanders adventure and fighting game (sort of like a Mario Odyssey and Super Smash Bros) all in one. Then you could use your Skylanders like amiibos and fight them in games. In any case, beautiful collection and thanks again for showing it all.
Just finished watching both collection videos and what an incredible collection! Ive never been one for chase variants or all traps or crystals, 1 of each did good for me, same with in game variants, i was really one to collect everything shown on posters, and all misc items, and like i said 1 of each crystal and trap. Any variant to me is a bonus and i do have 1 inbox figure, eggscited thrillipede which is in really good condition. I would love to find a ufo hat somewhere though!
It was at this time that I realized I used to have multiple chase variants… which unfortunately got broken or lost over the years. Well, good thing they weren’t too rare atleast
I really like the one that are in sealed boxes but the ones I like the most is Lightcore Legendary Grim Creeper, Gearshift, Tuff Luck, Nightfall, Legendary Blade with the Nightmare Express Adventure pack & Master Starcast.
Looking good .... actually have alot of boxed figures ... not nearly that many .. mostly just chase figures ... that would be too much to do for everything (too much room)
@@theskylanderdude i'm doing a video about the 25 rarest skylanders figures and while searching rock candy pain yatta stuff on yt this was the only one that actually had video footage of the figure lmao
@@theskylanderdude ohh okok thanks :) i guess the yt search algorythm didn't want me to find rock candy pain yatta videos xd. Keep up your content man, it's been really great lately :))
As much as I enjoyed watching this could i ask Do you have other items for skylanders? Such as when the traps from trap team were on sale in the shops i remembered to grab at least one tray they came in ❤ Just wondering if you have anything like that 🤟
:( i saw you did not own a sealed countdown do you think theres more out there? im saying this because since i stopped playing the games like 4 years ago i have wanted a sealed version of my favorite skylander
Hi TSD ! I was wondering if humidity can damage my skylanders ? I like to collect them sealed like you, and unfortunately I'm in a little appartment where the kitchen is in the living room, and the bathroom is right next to it. So I'm keeping them in a cupboard but I'm fearing humidity could damage them. Is humidity a real threat or not ? I plan to buy a dehumidifier if needed.
While I can’t speak from personal experience, I’d imagine that type of exposure overtime could damage the packaging. You’re biggest concern would be the cardboard backing on figures. That would be the first to soak up moisture and potentially separate the glue holding the box together faster.
@@theskylanderdude Thx for your answer ! Yeah I think I should buy a dehumidifier and try to keep a reasonable humidity rate. However, the glue seems to be a problem with these sealed skylanders, I just bought multiple boxed skylanders from SSA, and some came semi open, and when I grabbed one of them by the top of the cardboard, the cardboard came without the box 😭 Is this something that happened to you ? I'm so disappointed, I bought them for being sealed to add to my sealed collection but they were all about to fell apart... I don't think it is because of the seller, the figures are in perfect condition, and he's a pro who sold me unsold items from a shop.
