hiii :) i'm sharing my current 20-piece spring capsule wardrobe, fully equipped for all the minimalist chic outfits i will be making this spring season. spring fashion always feels a bit short to me (whereas winter and summer feel very long? idk?) so i love how many pieces overlap with my winter and summer capsules (10 pieces from winter, tbd from summer :D)

Found your channel just recently and I'm loving your videos! I really like how you wear and rewear most of your pieces, yet your outfits always look fresh. It's very inspiring for me who struggles with wanting to buy new clothes all the time. Not gonna lie, even watching this I video I thought "Hm a nice white dress would be nice to add to my wardrobe." Minus the coat everything else is spot on what I wear too! I still have my Jean jacket but if I don’t wear it this season I will probably wait til fall again (mine is grey) or pass it along. And I’m looking to add a little more color this year. I have a pastel green t shirt I wore a lot last spring but might look into maybe other colors as well. Im looking forward to wearing coral (makes skin tone look glowy). You def. Got me excited to wear warmer weather clothes. Right now Im really into vests! I’ve been wearing a soft tight sweater with a puffer vest all year.

Really appreciate it! My love for the chunky knit cardigan has grown since watching a couple of your vids, and it fits the bill for the perfect daily cardigan that has been on my wishlist for the longest time - before I pull the trigger and go ahead to purchase it, I'd love to hear some of your feedback: (1) Is it itchy? i've heard some &other stories cardigans can be itchy because of the wool material they use... (2) seeing that you've had it for a while now, how do you find it holding up? e.g. does it peel easily? I envisage wearing it everyday so it'd be important that it is of superb quality and can serve me a long time. Thank you so so much in advance! xx

Oh my gosh of course!! I’m so glad you asked bc it is an investment for sure. It is really soft and not itchy at all to me, and it held up pretty well for the 10 or so times I wore it and didn’t wash it BUT I tried to machine wash it cold the other day and it got completely shrunken and itchy so it’s a dry clean only piece…why kind of sucks. But again I wore it close to a dozen times without washing and it wasn’t stretched out or anything. Hope this helps a bit 💞

Hi I love your capsule wardrobe! I wanted to try one of my own, but seem to struggle with doing laundry. I do'n't want to wear the same shirt multiple days in a row without washing it, and can't really do laundry if I have only 3 pieces to wash... How do you do it?

Completely get that. Here’s how I do it, but it’s jsut my personal preference. I wear my shirts prob after least 3 times before washing but I don’t repeat a shirt everyday. I let a piece air out and I keep scented laundry bags hanging in my closet as well! I haven’t felt they were too dirty between washes. And I always do sweaty activities in workout clothes. Hope this helps a bit

I haven’t had to clean it just yet, but I don’t always strictly follow labels 🙈 everything’s generally been fine washing cold and either hang drying or tumble drying low, but then again I have lost a few pieces in my time

capsule wardrobe newb here, but do you find you have enough clothing to get through a week without doing laundry? i love the idea of having a capsule, but i feel like i’d have to do laundry all the time. any suggestions are welcome 🙂

Yes def enough for a week! I do laundry every other week, but I think it takes getting used to wearing clothes more than once before washing. I wear tops about 2-3 times before washing and pants at least 5 times (per the denim experts). And for workouts or sweaty activities I have diff clothes altogether. Hope that helps a bit 💕

Yes exactly! I have more clothes in total, but I keep my closet and purchasing to a minimum by curating seasonal capsules out of my existing wardrobe, and only buying one or two new pieces *if* I find I have a closet gap. By looking at my clothes in seasonal capsules, it helps me keep inspired with my clothing, assess my closet needs and changing style regularly, and makes getting dressed for the season much easier since I have ideas ready.

You are dressing for a different vibe and a different age from me, but your choices help spark best uses for my existing wardrobe with minimal additions. If you are going to continue to video your capsule ideas, the items would display better on proper hangers. They also retain shape better, particularly if they clothes are made of are natural or organic fibers. I prefer wood or bamboo, since it is more graceful than plastic. I enjoy this since I despise excess luggage. If you can’t carry it without help (assuming good health!), perhaps you are bringing too much. Good fortune to you.
