From Playmates to Art Asylum, Diamond Select, QMX and more! Let's go shelf-by-shelf and take a look at my entire Star Trek action figure collection. #StarTrek #toycollection #actionfigures
That's an impressive Star trek collection. I have a few nice items in my collection too. Like you, I am a fan of the original series, as well as the animated series and the first movie. I don't collect Star Trek beyond that. By now you must have guessed the decade in which I grew up. I have nearly all of the original 8" Mego action figures. I have all except the Romulan, which I cannot afford. I also have the Enterprise play set, the Phaser II Target Game, a Spock Halloween costume, Colorforms set, and a few coloring books. I also enjoy collecting "The Motion Picture" items. I have fond memories of when the movie first came out, especially the McDonald's Happy Meals. I found all of the boxes and a few of the toys on Ebay. I also found the cardboard Starfleet mobile, a mail-in promotion. I have plenty of other stuff including the board game, the Atari game, coloring books, comics, View Master, and the uncut movie on VHS. That's just some of my collection.
That's so awesome. Apologies, your comment got caught in the spam folder for some reason. I only learned myself only recently that there was a McDonald's Happy Meal promotion for TMP. From the perspective of a modern lens that is such an odd choice of movies for a kid's meal marketing campaign considering the film's subject matter and pacing which I imagine didn't really appeal to younger kids even back in 1979. Sounds like you have an epic collection. :)
26:54, I have the Classic Star Trek Playmates action figures bridge set too! I have them taken out of the box but I still have the box and I keep them in there to be safe. Love them. I also have the Playmates action figures of the Gorn and Captain Koloth and the 1995 Playmates Electronic USS Enterprise. Your collection is good. Live long and prosper 🖖.
Dude Awesome Star Trek Collection. I'm working on getting my Star Trek Collection setup. I love the motion picture action figures. I started a RU-vid channel and recently uploaded some of my Star Trek Collection I wanted to share. I gotta say you did a very good job doing this video I enjoy watching this. I can't wait to see more.
I heard that too! So cool. I will probably pick up some if the price is right. Also, loved having you stop by last night on the livestream, Ann. It was fun having you! 🙂
Great collection very impressive i have very limited space but i have a few ST treasures in my Man Cave i wish i could find a well made Judge Q throne piece with him leaning.
I don’t know anything about Trek, but I appreciate it as an IP. A classic. Can’t wait for the Transformers episode. Maybe a Video Game-centric episode perhaps?
Love that shelf!! You are so right with the Playmates being the place to start. So cheap even boxed but oh so cool. I didn't know that battle damaged Enterprise B existed. Have to try and track down one of those at some point. Every time I see your Enterprise D with that acrylic stand I realize I still need to buy one for mine. It's just sitting up in the closet sad and lonely. Tried to hang it with a few of my other ships on the ceiling but that beast was too dang hard to balance for me. I know you hate JJ for both his franchise offerings, but I love the 09 film. I love his stuff in general. Ever since LOST came out and it became one of my favorite pieces of entertainment ever. I have always followed what he has done and most of the time I really enjoy it. I do understand he is devisive to the fan bases though. I do feel like even if not everyone liked the content he put forth he did kind of bring both franchises back to relevance and give them new life. Whether that be new Star Trek series like Picard and Discovery and all the Star Wars stuff that now is coming out. So his stuff was important in that regard. Glad to see your Enterprise love. Wasn't sure if you watched the spinoff series much or not. Enterprise is my favorite post TNG series so I'm glad you also like it. It very much had the feel of TOS and Archer is a lot like Kirk so that no doubt affected my enjoyment of it. Plus Scott freaking Backula is the man. Grew up on Quantum Leap. Wow sorry for that long comment lol. Great Vid and collection brother!
Thanks Mav! We can agree to disagree on Abrams, but, more importantly ST: Enterprise was amazing! At least the first 2 seasons and parts of season 4. The Xindi plot lost me a little. :)
I like the Johnny lighting stuff .the best one to get in the series is ncc 1701 a I believe...they made so many shatner enterprises but there was only one that was made extremely well ...I think it was 1701 a .,but not too sure.
My qmx Kirk pants faded in the lights now looks like he's wearing faded shorts ...he was in the chair so be careful with how the lights display him. Luckily I have one mint in box.
Archer kinda stole all Kirk Picard adventures...went to Klingon planet 1st, met Borg 1st...met ferengi 1st I think...went Klingon prison 1st... Grrr always bugged me. The one thing original and actually like was the theme song intro 1st season.
Some of those story archs went a little to into retread material. Not good for a prequel series. That said, Enterprise is up there for me as far as my list of favorite ST series.
