20:33 They handout knives like that in a Church 😍........ boy you live in a heaven on earth.. hope you appreciate it... i could only dream of being in place like that....
Hi, Doomcrew Outdoors sent me here. Already a nice collection there. I also have a few Case knives, multiple Russlocks and mini trappers, and one Peanut. trying to add some limited edition and commemorative ones too. Good video, I didn't mind the length since there was a lot to cover, and you kept a good pace.
I try to collect 1964-1978. That’s when Case was still pinning shields, using stag and the prices are still low enough to justify. I love the mid 2000s T.B. Serial knives like the swayback too. Tony Bose had Case making very good knives for a while. If you’re ever in Huntsville Alabama go to Knives and More and tell John Derek sent you. He buys old collections and at any given time he has thousands of old, collector worthy Case knives. I collect pattern 32 in the stockman and Jack variety. You have a really cool collection!
That little doohickey on the Victorinox is an awl. You can thread string through the hole and Stich heavy materials (heavy canvas covers or tent material) together. You cut yourself on both hands…careful friend.
Brilliant video and amazing collection. I shared this on a knife discord group. I like the fact you cut yourself and carried on folming true professional 👌. Keep up the content its class
I have several patterns that you might like to try, along with those you've shown. Panama trapper, Texas Jack (large and small), sowbelly, loom fixer, humpback stockman (with different blade configuration), large single blade saddlehorn, many small saddlehorns with different covers (including single blade versions with clip point blades), muskrat, tribal lock, copperlock, big daddy Barlow, backpocket, copperhead, along with trappers and stockman's with silver script shield. If you're interested, send me a reply as to how to contact you. Beautiful collection you have there!
Nice collection, seems like your camera had a difficult time focusing because of all the things in the background. You collect like me, if I like it I get it. Not sure you ever tried Rough Ryder they are made in China but are great quality for the price.
Nice start to a great set! FYI, you may know this. The Elephant Toe is actually a Sunfish, hence the sunfish, not bass, on the blade. The Razor knife, was that a One Armed Bandit Barlow? Keep your eye out for the Buffalo companion, the Bulldog
I collect knives as well.. I no longer have any case knives, but might consider getting one.. my brand is Utica cutlery as I am from Utica, NY your knives are in great shape.. the ones I find are usually used and not the best shape.. I agree the bone or natural materials are best..
