That green victorinox is a copy of the German issue army knife usually made by Mauser but we're issued by victorinox aswell I knew what was under that steel clip as soon as I seen well done doc a good hunt 👍 cheers for the video buddy 👍

I liked that one also, I have to go back to see the other fix blade, was it military issue.? I had a phone call and missed a few seconds; seemed longer than most issued knives that I have seen.

Blackie Collin’s designed knives for Case XX in the 90’s I believe. Some of his knives like the Ridgeback hunter are still in production today. Thanks for the great content doc👍

That knife with the cover over the saw, is in the style of a German Army knife (GAK). If its a real geramn issued one, it would have been made by victorinox, winger, n other swiss army type companies. They r very collectable. Kinda a sub category of the normal swiss army/ victorinox knife. Good pick up.

I have a green Victorinox Mauser. It's a rare knife . I could not see if that is what your green one said but that knife should be worth a whole heck more than what you paid for it. Good find.

Hello Kev the blade,the green Victorinox knife you purchased is a Germany army knife.Victorinox also make knives for the Dutch,Belgium armies they are unique to each army.I have a collection of them.

I just found your channel about a week ago and subscribed. I was in the Marine Corps as well 81-84 0351 1st. Bttn. 2nd. Marines Weapons Company. I saw you looking at that E.C. Simmons sign and my EDC is a E.C. Simmons trapper. It's the newer model that's being pushed out by Cutlery Corner but I had to get some because my grandfather's name was E.C. Simmons. BTW how do you preserve stacked ring Kabar handles? I coated mine with Snow seal and heeated it up with a heat gun several times to allow it to sink in and it seems to do pretty well. SFMF! 👍

13 USAF deployments = 13 months total😃😃 Deployments have little meaning these days. How many months deployed in a combat zone is far more accurate. I met many 30-day USAF deployments and one Army National Guard infantry unit on a 22-month deployment in 2007 in Iraq. Marines were 6 months as a reference. Portuguese commandos were also 30-day deployments🤣🤣
