Welcome to my first train review series! In this episode, I'll explore Chiltern Railways, which used to charge £10 to £25 for upgrades pre-2022, but now you can sit in the area with no extra costs. Join me on a comfy journey from London to Birmingham, filmed in early February.
Journey details:
Date of Travel: 7th February 2024
Train Operator: Chiltern Railways
Rolling Stock: Class 68 Locomotive + Mark 3 Car (inc. Driving Motor Car)
Start Location: London Marylebone
Destination: Birmingham Moor Street
Duration: 2 Hours.
Distance & Speeds: 99 miles (159khm) with speeds up to 100mph

Nice video! British train tickets are becoming more expensive these days, Luckily I found a 5 percent discount.

Thank you so much. Yeah i brought it on the day at the time but prices can go as slow as £13 or £9 depending on the day with a railcard

Chiltren Railways is Really good, My main Train Operator coming out of leamington spa as its reliable but can be packed sometimes

@@JubileeDi Thats Really Good,But one thing on there clubman services, they could extened it to have more coaches as at rush hour it gets really packed and full

That’s nice. Actually there is a discount you can apply for buying train tickets now which could help us save more.
