NOTE: I said ‘Calabria’ accidentally instead of ‘Cambiaso’ when talking about Italy’s defenders. Last EUROs I called Kalvin Phillips, ‘Kevin’ Phillips (the 50 year old Sunderland striker) so you’d think I’d learnt to speak a bit more slowly by now. (but no).
100%, been saying this for years. The pundits are a cartel that need breaking up. If you don't support a top 6 team, you can tell they don't even watch the games and just trot out the same cliches. This girl has deep knowledge across the board and needs putting on the telly.
Dudes, Swiss guy here, Toblerone is not a Swiss chocolate anymore. That's why they had to take the Matterhorn off the package. Don't let yourselves be fooled into thinking you're eating Swiss chocolate when you eat a Toblerone.
@@ronald3836 It flew away before I could. Seriously, I havge, and I didn't say they are bad. I like them, especially cheese or chocolate croissants. They are just... light.
@@stuntpeggnieve Croatia 1, Italy 2, Spain 3. Glad to saw Juve vs Frosinone . Yilmaz is the new Del Piero. Watch out for Mati Soule. Dougloz Luis is the new signing for Juve. Szcezny will go to Arabija. Great videos. But your Napoli will be behind Juventus. Please do the hand gesture when you describe Doku and Bakayoko. That move was hilariouse. Why do you like people to punch Griezman ? Stay fresh and stay cool. The Frattelis - Chelsea dagger .😂❤😊
Uninspiring ? In Holland nobody will ever forget that Koeman lead the Netherlands to an unprecedented 3 - 0 thrashing of Germany in the Nations League a few years ago ;)
Vastly better informed and thought through than the analysis I've seen from the likes of Souness. I'll be watching to see how your predictions pan out.
It really is overlooked, i think that’s why I’m such a big fan of international team documentaries, it’s almost always adversity that leads to success for groups of players who spend over a month with only each other’s company and support
Very well thought out assessments. One of the reasons I've been a subscriber of yours is quality content without the clickbait fluff. Keep up the good work!
the way you dismissed romania so quickly and arrogant it's a certain defining characteristic for brexitball watchers who are yappin utter nonsense when it comes to football outside of epl. they topped a group with switzerland and play a very organized football and counter-attack fast with intent
Wow, calm down a bit. I am Romanian but I didn't get upset that we were underestimated, no one can have 100% accurate predictions. Look, for example, she anticipated very well that Slovakia is a strong team, and now they just won against Belgium, something few would have anticipated.
Quick note to say cracking appearance on the fan debate, Nieve. Brought a balance and realism that’s often missing from these discussions. Love the content, keep up the good work 👍🏼
loved you on the overlap, spoke so much more sense than the others, i dont really think they could quite comprehend where you were coming from with the foden/bellingham argument. its the same as the scholes/gerrard/lampard situation.
If I'm honest, you have a better sense of the game than most professional pundits. You have a way of condensing coaching philosophy and pitch management that makes way more sense than any of the half wits we pay money thru all these effing pay packages. I'd pay money to see a watchalong with you hosting. You've got a great mind!
My own predictions Winner: France Runner up: Germany Flop: England Dark horse: Turkey/Ukraine And my hot take is that if a direct match happens between England and Spain the winner is gonna be Spain
I don't think Italy are going anywhere this time, but I think they'll be solid contenders in the next few Euros. Basically every youth level below U-21 is stacked with great talent and performing exceptionally well. For example, they won the U-17 Euros in very impressive fashion, culminating in a dominant 3-0 victory over Portugal in the final last week (trust me, Francesco Camarda is for real). Azzurri fans will have to be patient for a bit, but it should pay off in the long run as these wonderkids climb through the ranks into the senior level over the coming years.
Out of date by this point so perhaps unfair but Mbappe face injury could change outcome quite significantly. It may not be an injury he can't play with but he will be sore and it will impact his mentally going for into possible collisions.
I appreciate quite a lot that you did study and research to talk about the Group Stage, having actual thoughts on all teams and surprising results predicted. ( Unlike others with pointless vids and mainstream opinions) appreciate that a lot. You get my like,of course. I always like when you post a video cause i know i'll get smt different and cool😊😊😊
I think he suits playing with top players, he’s been brilliant this euros, clearly found his role, but he dipped in and out of form a lot at Napoli that’s all!
Superb ball knowledge as usual. - Spain are losing the possession battle and I think they couldn't be happier. - I share your concerns about the England midfield as well. These are the problems with an overabundance of talent in one area of the pitch. - Yildiz and Guler are great, but I haven't seen Türkiye work effectively as a team yet.
Congratulations i'm lovin It Thalia 'n Cappuccinose! Cause 2 goal save Italia to Win the game after Albania score 1 fast goal. Don't give up All Bunny Yeah❤😊😊😊!
I used to be a dutch fan until van Persie retired, after which I was lost without a team to support fully. But the current dutch team does have that spark to go ahead well into the tournament.
The clarification of Harry McG not being hampered by baby cows while being more reasonable and measured than the complete A-, B- and C-team of UK pundits combined is the kind of information one does not get elsewhere. I am ready for the Euros with as close to zero puls as one can have while being diagnosed as alive (Norwegian here...), yet with more than a fair bit of excitement for the spectacle about to unfold. May it be fantastic.
I wouldn't say Trippier has had a bad season but i think its not been to the level hes been at previously. Still managed 10 assists in PL this year (more than last year). His injury over March and April was bad timing as he only had 2/3 games to get back to match sharpness and then had the break before the warm up games.
Refreshingly honest .... which means no English TV channel will have you as a pundit because you don't suit their need of playing up to the masses. Better on RU-vid👍
Italy’s problem is upfront. In the 2023-24 season, the list of top scorers in Serie A, was conspicuous by the absence of Italian strikers. Then again, France won the World Cup in 1998, without a recognised striker.
Totally agree. Insigne was a huge creator at the last EUROs, no longer here. Chiesa’s ACL injury has really impacted him. No Berardi too. But Scamacca has been transformed under Gasperini at Atalanta, he’s huge too so will be a big threat on set pieces, and Retegui offers a bit of competition that Immobile never really had. I’m looking forward to seeing what they can do
@@stuntpeggnieve totally disagree. I'm an italian fan and while I definitely miss Bonucci and Chiellini (our problem is in defence now), Insigne was absolutely average and totally overrated. Any of the current forwards can create more and better than Insigne. Any of them. As some neapolitan fans say, best signing in 2022 was letting Insigne go 😄
@@NobleSeek3R He did. But in 1998, he played as a winger. As the did for Juventus, at the same time. He didn’t become a striker, until he moved to Arsenal.
Pegg is better than all the former football pundits who are partial sometimes and have no foresight , they have all written off Portugal, but Pegg gives a more rounded view on their players, Paul Merson can't se outside of France or England winning it, but neither are outstanding, so other teams can win it
