It was a rough night and next day for sure. But we are focusing on his brief but joyful light he brought to us and honor his memory through this episode as well as adopting a new pup from a shelter that deserves a better life also.
I also use my burt's bees stick on my carbon steel knife blades. Food safe oil/wax that will protect the steel without tainting any food I cut with my knives.

Cool stuff. I like that mecarmy light. As much as I've tried to like them, I just find g-shocks to be butt ugly. My daily watch is a Casio wave ceptor. Charges with any light and every night gets the time from the atomic clock so it's always on the exact time. I have the Protech mordax in the milled scaled blue. So fidgetable!
This is his everyday carry, he carrys what he NEEDS. I'm sure he doesn't carry all if this on his person at all times some of it will obviously be in a bag somewhere maybe in his car.

@@DropForgedSurvival This is totally just my opinion but as someone who spends days up on days in the back country having all this extra stuff in my back would just not work. Simply to much weight, one simply knife or a multitool does it all for me. One's again, doesn't mean I don't love videos like this one, and love collecting gear just for fun. So was just giving my opinion, but your videos do rock :). I enoying them a lot!

I would NEVER used any lip balm on open wounds. First, it carries lots of germs from your mouth, and second, the waxy stickiness would attract all kinds of debris and germs if not covered.
seems like a lot of fire making items for an "urban" kit...but love ideas..surprised at flashlight choice..thought youd choose more lumens and burnt ime..interesting...great thing about edc its so personalized..
Got home ans got to sir dpwn and see the vid....Dude edc is amazing Chris and the little flashlight inspector gadget looks like an awesome switch to have try it out if it's good or not in the long run...great vid on the edc....and sorry about your pup man...
i dont get all these like crazy edc packs. thats a whole survival pack. I mean common, edc fire starter pack do you really carry it every day like when you go shopping or somethin like this USB Drive, Flashlight, Phone, keys and a multitool and thats probably more than you need
I'd have to try that pen combo, wonder how long the fluid lasts in the lighter ?!? I have a County Comm Peanut lighter and those things last forever and they have rubber seals.
Cool but your items look brand spanking new like they have not even been used. Carry anything for just a couple weeks and it starts to look worn and broken in. My squirt and i3eos have heavy wear and the color finish half worn off.
Why do we buy knives? Oh, to cut things. I like the Gordon Challenger Tactical Knife from Harbor Freight. Under $6 with coupon. Cheap ass knife you say? Yes, it is. But it works. And, if I lose it, which is not out of the realm of possibility, I don't cry over it. I can buy 10 of these for the price of one $60 knife, which knife nerds (no insult) think is a cheap knife. Everybody has their thing. Knives ain't mine. If knives float your boat, go for it.
I really need to get one of those wazoo firestarter necklaces nut I have been slacking. I see you and Fowler use them all the time. That flashlight looks neat as well.
Great kit mate iv just upgraded my edc flash light to the olight m1x striker its a great bit off kit and a1000 lumens. Just looking to upgrade my edc knife
I know it's crazy how fast things have come along I remember the massive box like ones that would have to be carried with a strap and the edc lights now are even brighter than they were then keep up the good work with your channel mate
@@DropForgedSurvival that Massdrop knife looked a lot like a larger Kershaw Skyline but with a better locking mech and better blade steel I'm guessing. I really like it! I'm going to have to check out Massdrop as I'm assuming that's the only way to get one of those?

Hey this is not an EDC thing but it is a great survival tool it could save you life on Amazon a cold steal shovel 17 to 20 bucks you could sharpen it with you wet stone necklace it has sharp edges
