why do you have a edc flashlight/torch, do you live in Alaska (or some where, there are no street lights)?

Great question! There’s plenty of EDC videos out there explaining why people carry torches, but here are my main reasons.. 1. It’s much more reliable than my phone flashlight 2. It can be used as a self defense tool to quickly blind someone to let me evade a situation before having to escalate to other tools 3. I don’t carry a pistol light on my 43x so in low light scenarios, a flashlight is perfect to support my view. 4. I got kids so trying to find a toy or binky that’s hidden under the couch or crevasse of the car is easier with a torch 5. I walk my dog 5-6 times a day and half that is at night. I like using the light to help us navigate through our walks. 5. I use a flashlight much more than my EDC pocket knife, pen, on a daily basis. So it’s definitely essential. Don’t get me wrong. A flashlight was definitely not in my carry when I first started to EDC. But the more you carry an item you think “you don’t need” may surprise you with how much you actually need it. I used your code. I bought the Small and large. If you want the quick draw straps to work. You cant really put much in the front pocket. Maybe a blade or some airpods. Depends on the firearm too.

I pack it out pretty good and have no issues. I also carry a Glock 43x mos with an optic and a Glock 19 mos with an optic. I think anything larger than a Glock 19 with a tourniquet in the large compartment is pushing it. Thank you!

@@mikeydailycarry really? I have a g26 in the small and a p01 in the large both with optics. If i put much more than a chapstick in the front pockets it messes with the quick draw ability, atleast at the angle i position the gun which is slightly canted.

Interesting! Here’s some tips. Gotta play with the positioning of the pistol and holster to make sure is clear of the zipper track. When practicing, be sure to follow all the way through with pulling the tab until the bag opens full clamshell. Don’t just pull on the tab to expose a little bit of your firearm. Why stop? Encourage carrying on body instead of saying “STOP” carrying in a bag. There’s a time and place for bags like parks or outdoor events. I personally don’t see an issue with a bag; it’s normal to have a bag in those environments and saves you from being uncomfortable or sweaty.

@stern2701 there’s a time and place for on body vs off body. It’s all preference. If I preach anything it’s practice with what you decide so that you’re prepared always 🤙🏾
