Pro tip from a cosmetologist: Wash your body AFTER conditioning so your pores don’t get clogged with the conditioner running down your back! A lot of people don’t realize that’s why they have “BACKNE” -back acne. Just a tip! Love your vids💕💕
Oh wow thank you I have been doing my routine out of order for 33 years and never would have figured out I have bacne from conditioning my hair after soaping my body thank you 🙏
I feel so smart but so dumb at the same time... When I wash my hair I take a shower cap, put shampoo in rub, wash and then the same thing for conditioner!!!!
its better to finish your hair care routine first and then wash your body with soap/etc. because the residue from the shampoo/condi could cause the back acne. thats what i learned!
This! I only ever shampoo and condition my hair, so while I let the conditioner sit I get my body all soapy and rinse the conditioner and soap off together
@@plainoolong That's mine!! Exfoliate head to toe, soapy wash head to toe, shave everything, double shampoo, condition, final rinse, follow with a exfoliating peel/face mask, moisturize the whole body while that's on - sit before I have to dry & straighten my hair...then 3hrs later I'm ready 😄
Isn't this just a normal shower? I don't understand the "everything" shower statement. How do you shower if it's not washing everything? I'm genuinely asking. I use an exfoliating washcloth in the shower. Is that the extra step that makes it "everything" if you don't usually do that?
You dont need all that crap like serums for you back just rinse as usual leaning foward and part the hair to the side so it doesnt run down the body. All you need is soap and a good scrubber for the back. Exfoliating the body as usual which is once a week at the evry least.
girl this is the most consistent and well done routine video i’ve seen, all of this seems so relaxing and comfortable to do rather than tedious. the energy is immaculate 🤌🖤
Because it's not worth it to do stuff like this unless your career is talking about it. She needs content for her videos and products to recommend more than she needs that extra 1 minute treatment to her hair. Not that I'm judging her, everyone's job is different but luckily normal people have no need for these elaborate routines we like watching
@@Acornzest absolutely agree on you with this one. Normal people having regular job or students don't have so much time for all this. And her elaborate hair wash routine is for the fact that her hair is not at all healthy and require a lot attention. Plus the treatments these youtubers go through requires maintenance which again normal people like us, donot need.
Suggestion for anyone with acne on back, neck, chest etc- I highly recommend washing your body AFTER rinsing out your rinse-out conditioners! This ensures any hair product that was washed onto your body will be removed and won’t clog pores.
Hey, just wanted to bring something to your attention. When hair is wet it is in a very fragile state. You need to avoid pulling on it in any way when it's wet. In this video when you use your hand to sort of squeegee the excess water from their hair extensions you are pulling on the hair and that can cause breakage. It's better to blow-dry or pat dry or similar.
Correction just because it's human hair extensions or anything human hair does it mean you're supposed to wash it every time you wash your hair . That will shorten the span life of your hair unless you have it glued or sewn in your head that you can't take them out but other than that you shouldn't be washing them every time you wash your hair you shouldn't be washing your own hair last much as well
My everything shower is Wet hair Brush hair Use fairytales dentangleing shampoo Use scalp scrubber Brush hair Use Trader Joe’s tea tree shampoo because it help with dry scalp and makes your hair softer Use scalp scrubber Brush hair Use fairytales detangleing conditioner mixed with the chi thermal protectant conditioner (equal parts) Put it in a claw clip for 3 min while I shave one half of my body Take down claw clip Brush hair out of water Brush hair in water Fino hair mask about 2 tablespoons but it depends on your length of hair Put it in a claw clip for 3 min while I shave the other half of my body Take out claw clip Brush hair out of water Brush hair in water Wash my face with the glow recipe avocado cerimide barrier cleanser Wash my body with the Olay adavanced mostrizer body wash Then I use the watermelon tree hut scrub Rinse of with ice cold water Get out of the shower Get dressed French braid my hair Use cerave body lotion And do my skincare
The hairstylists were wrong. Sometimes hair stylists don’t know everything. I’ve been wearing hair extensions for 10+ years and the bowls method is right, but with conditioner. You can wash the extensions with shampoo from time to time only because it will dry out the extensions. Extensions might be human hair, but they are no longer directly on someone’s head therefore they aren’t producing oil like ours do or other factors that helps the health /growth of our hair. I hope that helps 😊
Well thank all of the gods that someone has finally shown us all how to take a shower….all these years just standing under the shower and washing…who knew people needed lessons …what value you’ve added to the world…probably saved loads of lives…
Girl you natural hair is so pretty so if you wanna keep it nice and healthy I would recommend getting ur hair cut short! It would look great on you and it will make ur hair look healthy!!!
hey! i was wondering if you could please link all of your hair products because I have been looking for a good hair routine and i love yours! thanks!!❤
one thing I always do is wash my shampoo and conditioner out while bending over so it doesn‘t run over my back! it definitely helped a bit with my back acne. or if I feel like it does linger on my back I always go back in with a brush and rub it off
Dry brushing will do nothing for you unless you follow the pattern of the lymphatic system. I’m not criticizing, btw. 💕 I did manual lymphatic drainage for many years including in medical settings with very sick clients. It has incredible benefits for your immune system. The pattern begins on the left side of the body you use small circles in an upward motion before the joint and after. Followed by long, slow gliding motions up to the next joint. Then before and after. There are graphs you can find online to attempt to follow. But most people dry brushing aren’t getting much if any benefit. When you do it with the flow of lymph you’ll actually feel the lymph fluid cycling through the body. Like a tingling sensation moving under your skin. Best of luck.
I think rubbing the ends together damages the hair more and peels back the cuticle layer or whatever so be careful of scrubbing it like that. Extensions don’t grow back!
Once a week I apply hair remover to desired areas, scrub with brown sugar, trim & paint nails, once a month a pedi and EVERYTHING to get a great start to the week. If you comfortable in your own skin you will perform your best throughout the day!
As someone who works with reps from first aid beauty, to get the kp scrub to work properly it needs to stay on the skin for 3-5 minutes before scrubbing off or else your not getting the aha benifits. It's basically a sugar scrub if you don't let it sit. I only found this out from watching micro trainings at my job and the rep. Please let that stub sit!
hey wendy! i just wanted to say i think it's better to use hair mask before washing your body since hair mask is an oil based product and if it stays on your body it'll cause acne 💞
