Typo for day 54, it's day 4.
Agenda:

0:55 Why EVO and definitely NOT Vivian ICL
3:22 Surgery procedure overview
6:21 Vlog of surgery
13:00 Price and costs

I'm getting my Evo ICLs done this week. I thought about waiting and getting it done in Japan while visiting family and friends, but I decided I didn't want to spend half of my vacay recovering and seeing halos. Thank you for posting your experience. I haven't been able to find very many personal testimonies online

Honestly, the halos were gone after a few days for me. Didn't impact my vacation at all except day of the surgery and day after.

I have -17.5 in one of my eyes (the other one is also bad, but to a lesser extent) and have to get LASIK and ICL on that eye. I'm having it done in the USA (so jealous of those price savings 😂) and am so excited! But also nervous. Im glad it worked out well for you! Hoping to also be part of the no glasses gang soon! 🥳 By the way... to others reading this who got the procedure done- did you need an IV too? I was under the impression that that wasn't the case (maybe it depends on your location of surgery?). Now I'm worried. Me + veins = panic attacks. So that won't work ☹️

Thank you so much for sharing this information. The EVO ICI website doesn’t give me any information or the price, so I needed more details. I just need to see what is out there because I am tired of using eye contact and glasses especially living in California. The weather here is brutal so I been having dry eyes, itchy watery eyes, and allergic reaction from contact of inserting the eye contact, so yeah. Your video is very informative and helpful. Did you went to South Korea to get this done? I believe you did.

Wow your procedure was a lot different than mine! I had it last week. I had no IV- they just gave me some Valium for anxiety. When it was over I was bit sore with a headache so they gave me extra strength Tylenol. They also had to constrict my right pupil because they had trouble getting the lens in. That took a few days to wear off. Now I’m at 20/20 but I am having some glare and halos. Driving during the day is great with sunglasses though! Glad yours went well.

I was around 14 when I was told by my doctor that I would never be able to get lasik surgery for the first time and it devastated me. My prescription is -16 and my corneas are steep (thin on one side). I still inquired about corrective surgery when I turned 21. I received mixed responses and was traveling for college so it wasn’t the right time anyways. Now I’m 26 and icl exists, it seems too good to be true to me but I have my exam in a week and fingers crossed that I qualify for the procedure. Even if I have to wear normal glasses sometimes, it would be a dream come true.

@samijune5824 6 месяцев назад
@@Tcsgsd I was deemed an excellent candidate to my surprise! Not only did the doctor think I qualified well but he stressed that it would be a dramatic quality of life improvement and he estimated at best 90% correction. I just need to do a couple more exams to be thorough and make my final decision. I’m still slightly put off by the risks and the cost but it seems at this point in my life like something I have to try.

Like you, my prescription is bad enough that Lasik is not an option. Naturally I've migrated towards researching ICL on and off for years, but every time, it's the halos reports that frighten me out. For you, was it something that entirely went away? Or did your brain adapt and so it no longer bothers you. Would love to hear more about your halo-specific experience! So glad you ICL went so well for you.

I go to eyes doctor, she said my eyes have some spot in the iris. that's why she not recommend me for lasik but for ICL. thanks so much for your sharing. I was told by doctor that my cornea is too thin that makes me a bad candidate for LASIK, and ICL is the only option I can consider. Still deciding to do it or not. Quite indecisive due to its potential risks, and doc told me whether the surgery is safe and successful highly depends on the surgeon's skills. ☠And I have heard halos are quite common. Do you still encounter this issue nowadays?
