Yes it was a paid internship. I found it through Glassdoor! I didn't go to school for UX/UI design so everything I did was on my own.

Yes I got paid during my internship. At the time, I got paid hourly of $18 which seems kind of low but I was ok with that because of the experience I was getting. In terms of full-time salary it ranges depending on your experience, location and the company itself. If you do some further research online you'll get a better idea of market standard.

I didn't go to school for UX so I'm not too sure if it will be worth it or not. But in terms of jobs, there are always new jobs coming out.

Great question. The first thing I’ll say is that there are a lot of different ways you can find a mentor. Sometimes it’ll be hard to reach out to random people and just ask because like you said it’s investing a lot of time for free. If you are asking someone for mentor ship it needs to be approached in a way where it’s not demanding and they can see the value in helping you. I would say you want to build a relationship before you ask for such big things. Another way to find mentors are actual platforms where you would pay for the service.

Hi Aniket, just like anywhere right now it's going to be a challenge. I would aim to find an internship where you could eventually transition to a full-time role. That's just my opinion though! Good luck!
