This was my first time attending a Kitsune Women’s Wrestling show! This event, KANPAI, was absolutely amazing!!
All of the matches were great!
My top 2 favorite matches specifically were: 1. Mio Momono vs. Hyan
2. Magenta (Maria & Riko Kawahata) vs. Jada Stone and Zara Zakher
After the show, I was able to meet & greet and buy some merchandise from several wrestlers, including Hyan, Jada Stone, Zara Zakher, Trish Adora, Takumi Iroha, Unagi Sayaka, Mio Momono, and Magenta (Maria & Riko Kawahata). It was fun practicing a bit of my Japanese speaking to the Japanese Professional Wrestlers as well!
I unfortunately forgot to ask Jada, Zara, and Trish for a photo because I was just enjoying talking to them about #NJPWAcademy. But it was really cool to talk to and support them.
This was my first time seeing Hyan wrestle in person, and she's even more amazing than I already knew she was from watching on TV!
I've always wanted to meet Takumi Iroha, and I finally got my chance to!
I met Unagi Sayaka earlier this year in Japan, and I finally got the 2-shot photo with her in America!
I took my first 3-shot photo with the tag team Magenta! It was so awesome to meet and watch Maria and Riko Kawahata wrestle in person for the first time!!
Mio Momono has quickly become one of my favorite Professional Wrestlers in the world!! I've seen her wrestle in person now 4 times, twice in Japan, and twice in America. Her match with Hyan was absolutely amazing. And I've now been able to meet her now in both countries! I had a pretty long conversation with her, and she's so cool to talk to, speaking in both Japanese and English with her. I told her about how I'm training at the NJPW LA DOJO, and she thought it was so cool and told me to "頑張って ください。", to which I replied, "頑張れます。" She also wrote in Japanese "Please come back to Japan." And I seriously can't wait to go back to the most wonderful place on earth someday.
Overall, I had such a fun time at this show! 😊
