Pulte, Lennar, DR Horton, Meritage, and just found out Tri Point Homes (among others) are below and low-grade builders. Thank you so much for this informative and thorough video. You said so much and I learned to much.
Currently considering a Pulte home Here in Santa Fe New Mexico and just wanted to see if anything’s gotten better. HOA is also new to me and I’m not sure how I will like it. The home I am looking at was already designed and is currently waiting for the underground plumbing step. I’ve Heard mixed reviews about pulte so far and just don’t want to make a huge mistake.
HOA controls what goes outside your home. It’s like they own the house. Everyone in the neighborhood have to have the similar designs of outside light fixtures, mailboxes, etc. Can’t leave your garage door open, can’t park in the curve (varies). If you want a shed in your backyard, you have to ask permission first. That’s from my experience.
Pulte houses are okay, not the best..Pulte Mortgage is a different story..I don't know how my closing cost came to be 50k for a 380k house..their numbers dont add up..i also noticed the closing cost amount started coming closer to how much I actually have in the bank..that money I've also been saving for furniture..they are planning to wipe me out..going with a different company..and that 12k incentive they said that was going to closing cost for doing business with them is non existant..horrible experience
5:36 WOW, after you sign a contract you Google the company but at least you have a logical, understandable, valid, and excusable reason. Hoping it all worked out in the end.
Hmm your sarcasm is noted.Yeah I got my money back and a fire in me to pursue Construction Defect Litigation. And it wasn’t a simple google, it was a deep dive. You should be more concerned with why Americans would do this to other Americans.
@@tiaunajonline evidently you didn't read " hoping it all worked out in the end ". Americans screwing over Americans happens every day and the easiest way to prevent it happening to you is to research the person you are entering into an agreement with. The timestamp is there that highlights what you said in the video. Although I find it incredibly nonsensical to enter into a contract with someone to build a home for you then Google the Company I'm not siding with the ineffective defective Company and saying you deserve the bad quality workmanship. Your documenting your troubles and concerns will probably help Buyer's in the future but not if they don't take the time and effort to find it.
I've had a horrible experience with Pulte Mortgage!!! 😡🤬... They tried their best to deny... And now they have messed up the numbers on our closing documents... I think I need to get a lawyer!!
Yup..going through it right now..numbers dont add up..seems like they're trying to wipe out my accounts for closing..the closing cost keeps rising along with my savings amount
