My tip would be to go sunday afternoon, after being out all night. Or you don't even have to be out all night, just go sunday afternoon. There was virtually no wait, and I think they can tell you're on a bender and they appreciate that. Idk I never waited in line for more than like 10 minutes on a sunday afternoon, and I went twice and got in both times
And like it's still an incredible vibe sunday and monday. More locals than tourists I believe(although still some tourists) and still people partying incredibly, incredibly hard. I haven't been on a friday or saturday but I'd imagine it's just as good. Other good clubs I would recommend in Berlin with less strict door policies are Renata and Tresor(although every door policy in Berlin is kind of strict compared to most other places, but these ones are really good and they're much less strict than Berghain)
Sounds like an adventure, I'd love to get into Berghain but I know there's so many things to doormen look for to turn you away like talking or not speaking fluently
It was an adventure! I highly recommend it, it's wild in there, best club I've been to in my life. Definitely worth trying for it. Just don't go on a friday or saturday night when it's super crowded, I'd recommend Sunday afternoon when there's no line and I think they're more likely to let you in. I don't speak a word of german and they let me in, I wasn't wearing all black either. I think some of it is kind of just due to the random whim of the bouncer idk. I'm also queer and have short hair(born as a woman), so I think that helped maybe
