Love how you are so adventurous, I visited Greece 19 years ago for my 50 birthday and met so many nice people and the country was divine. I can never forget the color of the sea a bright sparkly sapphire.

Thanks Margaret for sharing your experience. You reminded me that I was on Crete 35 Years ago, my honeymoon! It was January 1985!!! We didn't get to Santorini because there was no ferry at that time of year. I was so disappointed. Thanks again for sharing your trip with us. You are very brave for going it alone. 🚢
This one actually was in October 2019 :-) I take 2 cruises a year and also organize cruises with our Sixty and Me sisters on our sister site She Cruises. This year we are going to Norway in May and then in 2021 a Danube River cruise in May and a Greek cruise in October! :-) Love cruising. Do you?
I enjoyed every moment. My dream is to visit the Greek Islands particularly Santorini. Years ago I read a book that made the case that Santorini is really the lost Atlantis.
I enjoyed seeing your journey because I was there in 2011. I think I went everywhere you cruised except maybe one place. Thank you so much for sharing. We started in Barcelona and ended in Venice. Thanks for sharing Margaret. I have read about Patmos in the Bible. It is neat to see what these places look like . Looks like their doors are what make each of their homes stand out. Like in America when we live in Housing developments we try to do things to individualize our homes. Looks like you have a great trip.

I lived in Heraklion many years and was wondering if you had time to visit Knossos and the Archeological Museum? The video only showed a brief shot of the commercial harbor.

Kelly B. Hi Kelly yes you can pay single supplement and take the cabin alone. Sometimes it is twice the amount other times there is a reduction. Every cruise line is different. If you’re in the UK a good site is Passion For Cruises which specializes in Solo Crusing. They offer Celestyal cruises quite often at a special rate for single occupancy
Kelly B. Yes I would have loved to have spent more time in Rhodes. The wonderful thing about these short Cruises is that you get a taster and can then go back!
