same have worked in the UK for seven years , move to Canada worked for 6 years , (australia sana kasi mas malapit sa Pinas -pero salary, career growth and benfit Canada parin) , now currently here in New York working for 2 years (work permit) and doing my Anaesthetic specialisation hopefully be able to graduate na by next year. Fighting Filipino nurses. future plans be a clinical instructor and move back to philippines by 40 :D and apply for universities to improve our health education system para maging at par and better it at para no need lumayo at umalis ang mga magagaling na nurses.

Work in the UK for 7 yrs. Now in the US. I make x5 here in the US. Never again work in the UK. Work life balance here is better and work load is way way better.

@@derbalyasmine2438 if you have the opportunity to go to USA the best place for filipino nurses in terms of salary. im a UKRN and just earning 13K pesos / night whereas in america my cousin is earning >$1000 or 55K pesos/night ICU nurse in LA california. so you need to pass your NCLEX and your english exams your passport to USA good luck

I'm 48 years old and working on moving to the US. My main motivation is the potential income I can earn. Agency rates in the UK are dropping whilst the inflation is going up.

true, you need to do bank shifts just to make ends meet. 1/3 of your salary goes to house rent. Mind you I'm single imagine having a family.

hello can I ask some advise , I'm a physical therapist by profession , working before in Saudi Arabia , i went back here in the Philippines year 2015 , I entered into a rental business short term like airbnb and long term rentals. I went to bankruptcy during pandemic and until now I'm still paying the debt that I incurred. I'm thinking to enroll in a nursing program in one school that has a special program for second courser like me that will be finished in 2 years time I'm 43 years old and do you think still worth to take up nursing at my age ? thanks

During my time in college, ang daming sections na puro second coursers. Almost all are in their mid 30's to 40's. I am not sure kung may 50s pa. One of my classmates na nasa early 40s nung college kami, head na ngayon ng care home sa NY.

yes you need to take NCLEX and english exams kahit galing ka dito sa UK. these are your passport to become a USARN

this is what's wrong with people the "what ifs". Why would you immediately think if you are going to be admitted in the hospital. How about have a good diet and lifestyle, prevention is cure so you won't have illness unless it's accidents but as he said we are still paying for NHS

I won’t compare private insurance to tax going in healthcare. Pag nawalan ka ng work sa US at di ka nakabayad ng insurance mawawalan ka ng cover so wala na yung mgs binayad mo in the past. Pag sa UK or countries na may healthcare benefits pag nawalan ka ng work at di ka nagbabayad ng tax kahit years pa basta permanent ka may benefits ka padin. That’s the difference in my opinion
