Thank you! I needed this today. Some actual hope! I started getting hives 4 months ago all over my body. It looks like I have been burnt almost. I still have no treatment. My rheumatologist is keeping an eye on it for possible autoimmune as I have RA already. But besides the hives I have severe fatigue and body aches. I have seen so many doctors and still no help. Seeing a new dermatologist this week. It’s frustrating, draining, depressing, I too felt like not wanting to live. It’s so debilitating and my quality of life has declined. I wish more doctors would listen and treat right away.

I'm sorry to hear that you are experiencing this. I hope you have better luck with the dermatologist. Check out the videos with Dr. Maurer for appropriate treatment options. I hope you get some relief soon.

I feel this so much.🙌 I haven't had these issues since I was a kid, but I've had a crazy resurgence of urticaria with the added fun of cellulitis. The cellulitis is triggered by insect bites that normally do hardly anything to me.🤷‍♂️ Dermatologist is controlling my urticaria with 2 doses of Allegra and Pepcid a day; seems to be working. I have Chronic Asthma and I've heard about respiratory issues being related with urticaria. It seems a lot of this path being your own detective, because it's almost impossible to get straight answers from doctors. Anyway...thanks for the useful content on your channel.

Thx for sharing. Glad you finally found relief. I’m going thru almost everything you mentioned. It’s been just over six weeks now living wz these horrible insane hives. After extensive tests I’ve been diagnosed wz Hashimoto’s. Although I was eating healthy and on low carb because of my diabetes, it turned out almost all of the good healthy food I was consuming had a high level of histamine, so Im basically having a histamine overload. Im now taking the naturopathic approach after all meds I’ve been described initially were not working at all. These natural supplements all geared toward reducing my inflammation and detoxifying my body. But the most pressing thing in the meantime, is these insane hives. The itchiness wake me up in the middle of the night & at dawn, & several times a day, lasting for hours!! they’re driving me insane! It’s all adding to my stress and also isolating me socially. I am basically stuck at home. God knows how long this will last but my trust is in the Lord I’m believing for total healing.🙏

Oh man I can relate so much with your testimony! I cried listening. Im so sorry you’ve had urticaria for so long. That’s had to be so hard! I too thought it was fleas originally. That and I have been suicidal due to everything. My doctor actually insisted I be admitted at a psych hospital. It’s such a dark season! My life is not bad either. God had been good. It’s just this hit me hard and out of nowhere. That and it’s just a lot at once. I’m reactive to the hot/cold, pressure, sun, foods (I’m not even sure what ones), exercise induced, and water. My doctor said it was all anxiety. I am only allergic to cats. Which I don’t have. I feel like I have not been heard at all. Now I don’t just have hives. I have POTS, which is terrifying too! That and I react to antihistamines. So I feel like a lost cause. I’m trying so hard not to give up! I see a homeopathic lady tomorrow and hope to God it helps! I really hope this turns around for me soon. It’s been a long and depressing 4 months!

I wonder if some of it is hormonal too and that’s why your pregnancy was so well. I know my hormones are crazy!

It sounds like you have a lot going on. Stress and anxiety can certainly contribute to symptoms. Watch my video with Beth O'Hara from Mast Cell 360. It sounds like possibly a mold issue or mcas. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-SiuyGItRvbc.html Hang in there!

The immune system is suppressed during pregnancy, the placenta releases extra dao (histamine degrading enzymes), and progesterone is elevated. I did have issues with high estrogen and low progesterone and testerone. It's crazy how all of these things can impact one another.

At last, watching my hives inflammation fade day after day until they completely vanished was such a relief, I went with what I pointed out and within the first 10 days or so the urticaria was barely visible! I just go'ogled the latest by Shane Zormander and after 20 days my skin has never been healthier!

It’s been a year for me. Haven’t found the answers yet. I went from montelukast to xolair, to cyclosporine and back to xolair. I tried all the natural, homeopathies, I’m on 6 antihistamines a day. I’ve felt all the feelings you described in the video. I can’t figure out my triggers. Just seems like everything I eat. Is there any news regarding the drug that is in trials? I’m happy your under control and I appreciate your videos.❤Thank you for posting! 😊

I've been a victim too of this terrible disease for the last 5 months. Tried every antihistamine, but nothing works!! I took my second dose of Xolair, hoping it would work somehow. Now, I'm controlling my symptoms with steroids, which is great, but with a terrible price of long-term complications. I did cut my dose from 40 mg daily to 12.5 mg now of Prednisone, which is at least ok.

Does Chronic Urticaria ever go away completely?
@Sarahlepsy
@Sarahlepsy 8 месяцев назад
Yes, many people do go into remission. It really depends on the root cause or causes. Autoimmune diseases can go into remission, but you always have it. If it's an underlying infection or dao deficiencies, for example, those can be addressed, and you could potentially be hive free. A lot of people also go into remission spontaneously. I have a genetic predisposition for histamine intolerance, and my csu is autoimmune, so I will always have to be careful about my triggers, but I have been in remission for about a year with a couple minor flares.

@@Sarahlepsy Thank you for your answer. Ive had it now for 4 months and I am 29. I believe stress was a big factor. Ive managed to handle the stress much better and I have noticed that the flare ups is not as severe as it were first. So I hope I will get rid of this as soon as possible at least.. I dont take daily antihistamines only when I get swellings on the facial area or on the uvula.

Is it ok to take 2 Allegras every day? Ever since child birth I’ve had chronic hives.
@Sarahlepsy
@Sarahlepsy Год назад
I took two Allegra every day as instructed by my immunologist. Chronic hives patients are often taking up to 4x the standard dose. Of course, check with your physician. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-V9QZ_rwBWYA.html
