Amitriptyline 50 mg to 125 mg maximum daily in dividing doses , according to itching lesions condition and itching lesions.( 2 ) tab. Ranitidine 300 mg 2 times daily. ( 3 ) clobetasol cream locally if there is itching rashes. I regularly run for hours daily under sun shine, high numbers of Push up and moving my body whenever possible.it helps me for good sleep and stay fit.God bless you.
I have CSU and from my experience is they run their course at their own discretion. Antihistamines work in getting rid of the itch but not the rash. The rash and hives run for several weeks in my case then I’ve kept it away for a solid month. It’s a stubborn thing for sure. Comes back and lingers around then fades etc.
This is fantastic, watching my hives and inflammation dissolve every day until it all disappeared was definitely appeasing, I went with what I mentioned and after 20 days my urticaria disappeared. I just go'ogled the latest by Shane Zormander and now my skin is as smooth and healthy as it has ever been!
I was exposed to mold for two semesters due to living in a university hostel and after those two semesters I started to develop CSU. Now, I am out of that hostel and live outside. I still get hives every two days, and to stop them, I take a pill of anti-histamine. It worries me and I don’t know how I can stop these hives permanently.
I did not use xolair. I went the functional medicine route. A lot of people seem to do well with it. Be sure to check out my video with Dr. Maurer about treatment options.
I recently did a webinar with a functional medicine practitioner about root causes. We are offering a functional medicine program for chronic urticaria. I'll link it here so you can watch it if you haven't seen it yet. Even if you aren't able to work with us, she provided a lot of information in the video. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-2QgEdjrGIgw.html
Do you have angiodema with the urticaria? And have you done testing for parasites? Also do you have other systematic symptoms like sleep problem, skin issues, muscle tightness etc?
My symptoms are systemic, yes. I only got very mild angioedema on occasion, thankfully. I tested negative for parasites, but they treated me just in case. I did not experience much improvement with the functional practitioner I worked with. I have a pretty complex history, but I think that mold & HPA Axis disfunction are my biggest issues. I have been in remission from csu for a little over a year now, but I developed a secondary issue after a surgery I had in 2022. So I'm trying to figure that out now. I'm still living in mold, so I'm sure that's not helping my situation.
@Bruh-fo5bc I don't remember the name because it was quite a few years ago. It was a powder that I had to take twice a day on an empty stomach for about a month. I also was given oil of oregano, but I believe that was more for bad gut bacteria. There are a lot of different herbals that you can take for parasites.
