In this video I talk about my own personal experience with gas, bloating and gastro intestinal issues during early pregnancy. I also talk about what causes this (an increase in progesterone), what I'm doing to help reduce it, and some other suggestions to help out with this issue.

Okay 7:08 she starts to talk about what she’s doing to help relieve her bloating: 1. Increasing amount of fiber (oatmeal..) 2. Drinking more fluids (water...) 3. Mint tea 4. Pill - (only took a few times) Simethicone pills, ultra strength gas relief Ladies, talk to your doctor first before adding in pills, or any things that can change up your body. Fiber and fluids can also contribute to bloating, so it has different effects on different people. For some reason I found this video very long winded and not very satisfying, don’t take it the wrong way I’m probably hormonal.

Wow we have the exact same symptoms with bloating and the bad taste! I couldn’t find anyone with the same symptoms. The gas pain was so severe I almost went to the ER but I just ended up pushing through it while being in the fetal position for four hours in bed. I just literally tried to breathe through it. I took Simethicone and it did help, I’ve had it with my first pregnancy and now with my second. Thanks for sharing!

I am literally dealing with this rn. Totally ruined my day I don't remember eating anything unusual. Been farting and burping Its the second day but today is worse. I am not sure if im pregnant but its very uncomfortable and I have never experienced this before

This is NOT talked about enough!! I literally thought my body was trying to miscarry. I’m officially 5 weeks today. And it wasn’t until oneday I made myself get up off the couch while being in pain and went to the toilet, natural instincts maybe idk. Lol but once I pooped and farted! Omg🥴😅😭 THE RELIEF!!!!!! The pain is killer! I’m so happy I figured out the problem cause I was soo scared at first. Lol but I’m really thinking about getting some Gasx or something to help move the gas along. But will definitely talk with my doctor

I really feel you! I hate this feeling the foods was so slow to digest causing to produce gases. And it hate it.. It push me to do vomiting to released those gas. Because i dont know how to burp😭😔😢

I feel like you are describing my symptoms to a tee. I am 7weeks and I have been in alot of pain and discomfort for the past 2 weeks. I really hope this will get better soon. I'm drinking pro-biotics but it's not helping much

I'm 9 weeks pregnant to the day and this gas pain is unbelievable. I just texted my husband and told him not much is likely to get done around the house today because I hurt so bad I want to cry. Just moving hurts! There is so much to do but I'm tapping out over gas...ugh

So I had my IUI 10 days ago but soon after that like 2dpo i started feeling super bloated, gassy and sometimes diarrhea..soon after eating anything I feel bloated and belly I always grumbling..light headed sometimes. ..the question is that I am not even sure that I am pregnant.... because today is my 10thdp....I want to know your thoughts.... I am super confused ..... and nervous at the same time.

The gas causes me to want to vomit or actually vomit at times, it’s so bad. I feel like fibre might have an adverse effect, but I’ll give it a try, at this point I just want this to go away lol

Wish I found your video sooner. A week after finding out I was pregnant I got the most painful abdominal pain, literally on all fours crying for a whole day and night! It kept happening but I noticed a pattern, it was bought on by dairy and oily foods. Now at 28 weeks I know what to eat what not to eat. But yes can relate to people not taking it seriously as soon as gas is mentioned!

Thanks for your video feels like I'm carrying multiple my tummy is so big and stiff and it hurt so bad was told you'll feel much better in your second trimester and here I am not that gassy anymore but I'm still bloated always tired back hurts tummy cramps short of breath oh my the list is long but I'm so glad I'm not the only one

My exact problem now just 6 week but gas and bloading causing some abdominal pains. But i have been craving for lemon and its helping me but not sure if its save for the baby. Someone help pls

I tend to burp a lot after I eat. The gas has definitely caused nausea. I am making some progress by not eating raw produce and consuming bone broth in particular through Pho soup, for example. The broth is really calming and sustaining for me, especially with stewed meat that is easy to digest.

I am having bad bloating but your high fiber diet helps, drinking enough fluids effect bloating as well but ladies take extra Magnesium at night! I'm up to 1500mg in my third trimester and I do get bloated but no pain and the following morning I go to the bathroom a few times and feel better!

I am 4 weeks pregnant. Feeling extremely bloated and gassy all the time. Gasses are painful and pokes me from inside. Sometimes it is difficult to understand weather it is happening because of gas or I am having any other issue. It is very uncomfortable.

It's too early to know if I'm pregnant yet, but for 4 nights straight now, I have had the strangest and most painful gas and bloating to where I was getting concerned and it's only at night for some reason, I'm fine all day, and I'm not eating any differently than I have before. I'm so hoping this is a pregnancy sign for me. It has never ever been a pms sign. Bloating, sure, but not that crazy crampy painful gas.

I don't have nausea or heartburn and didn't have morning sickness but girl I'm so freaking bloated and gassy ugh it's so annoying lol I'm 4months now and I'm frantically looking for something to help.. not to mention I'm so constipated too often ugh. Bloating is so annoying and the gas, well lets just say I feel bad for my husband lol.

Have you tried probiotics? They have some for pregnancy too. I’m in exactly the same boat as you , except the constipation. The probiotics seem to help a lot of people with constipation, but has not done anything for me with my excessive bloating Also saw after I started replying that you’ve already out baby ((lol) and congrats!), but just kept the reply in case it helps someone else in the same situation.

Ah girl! Thank you for speaking about this! Gas is terrible for me. I have IBS aswell so I know that's the culprit. Gas , bloating and diarrhea plus pretty bad morning sickness.its do embarrassing and painful. Thanks for the tips though. I haven't been able to get much down esp nothing sweet but will try cooking oats in water and adding some flavors

Hey hang in there love! I've found that Smaller meals help my digestion and cutting out oily or spicy things. Plus, for gas, drinking lots of water and getting dome light exercise ( just some light walking) really helps me sleep better at night. So try these things. Good luck

I'm on my third pregnancy and somebody at work asked how far I was cause she thought I looked 6 months pregnant but I was only 8 weeks at that time. 😅 Now I'm 11 and I'm as bloated as ever.... Burping all the time and feeling sick, my upper abdo feels so hard at touch and all day I look forward to lay down on my left side just to release some of that gas😂 and I'm so constipated. I don't remember being so bloated for first 2 pregnancy.

I'm 5 weeks pregnant and I literally look 9 months and about to pop! LOL It's horrible because I can't wait to show off my pregnant belly but if I start doing it now, people are going to think I'm far along when in reality I'm just fat and bloated! Hahaha
