hello y’all it is red. I decided to make this video to share with y’all my personal experience with Allied universal security company. I liked the company at first and after a couple of months of working there, it started to go downhill just due to certain coworkers and managers at the location. I got hired in 2018 and worked there for two years. This job actually help me get my very first apartment and move out of my parents house. I was working as a flex officer so that means I was working whenever I felt like it. I was a full-time flex officer, so I usually was working 5 to 7 days a week. I liked it due to the fact that they have a bunch of contracts with so many different buildings and companies so you’re not going to be at one location like that all the time. The reason why I chose to be a flex officer is mainly because I get bored of the same location, the same coworkers, and the same customers. I like to be in a different environment from time to time and different areas. This caused me to explore Houston. Don’t get me wrong. I did meet a lot of cool coworkers like for example one of my coworkers gave me cupcakes for my birthday and I did get tips throughout my jobs. my manager unfortunately she was bad for business. She would constantly get on me for the smallest things. It definitely had its pros but it also had his cons. Some of the pros is they hire anybody. some locations are lenient with you and they usually have you at the most easiest spots. the cons that I did not like about it was the pay a lot of sites that you work at are going to be below $15 an hour and the coworkers are messy and so is the management and another con the fact that supervisors will pop up on you randomly and critique your outfits and how you’re doing your work. overall this is a good security experience for my future and it helped me get plenty of other jobs. Every security company that I work for after Allied universal a lot of the security guards moved from Allied to different security companies.
