Thanks a lot for the skincare regime. It helps since I also have extremely dry skin and the New York winter is going to get harsh. LASIK surgery is very very safe and the best decision I took. It’s totally painless during the surgery . I was given a light anesthetic ointment around my eye area. It was slightly uncomfortable as lot of things were happening on my eyes while they had to be kept wide open but there was absolutely no pain. It lasted 20 minutes and that’s all. I could immediately see everything , though with less vision. The first few hours my eyes could not tolerate sunlight and needed good sleep. The more I slept, the more it healed. With few medicines , lots of sleep and keeping away from cooking and any kind of dust, it took me 2 full days to gain clear vision and get back to normal daily routine.

Hey! I love your videos, I’m an optometrist and highly recommend considering laser eye surgery. I’m one week in and loving it!! I had trans prk done and my vision was already so much better after one day. The first 48 hrs were rough, definitely painful and they are feeling dry now but symptoms will continue to improve. It’s life changing. Love your content!

Also to avoid drenching my bathroom... I have incorporated a face halo...to take out cleanser and then i rinse. Less water splashage. I so agree with having relaxing night time routine..love learning from you.

The long AF routine are definitely worth it your skin is looking amazing. I have dry dehydrated skin but for some reason when I wear rich moisturiser I get spots on my chin mostly and other parts of face too.

Hey Arshia, i did the lasik eye procedure about 10 years ago and honestly no regrets. I am sure technology has advanced since then. So much easier when you travel, swimming etc It is a couple of days of discomfort, then good to go. Go for it.

Love the skin care routine! Wish I could do all these things but I am so nervous to try out different products because I have acne prone and oily skin. So I have to be super careful and picky with my products! BUT talking about Lasik Surgery...I got it done in May and honestly it’s one of the BEST decisions I’ve made in my life! I was also nervous and scared but going to the consultation helps! I was in and out in five mins in the day of the procedure. Everything happens so quickly and fast, and nothing about it is painful!! Everything is pain free and you don’t feel a thing! That’s what I was nervous about the most, but it was super quick and my doc had 20+ years of experience in this field! The post op care is super easily and not time consuming at all. You can literally go back to your daily routine the next day it self :) they will give you some eye drops and you will feel a little soreness in your eyes, as if something is stuck...that’s because the numbness is going away. But that only lasts for few hours and they recommend you to take a nap after the procedure is done! I would definitely recommend it!! You won’t regret it for sure! :) hope this helps!

Arshia! love your videos! Lasik literally changes your life. I got it done about 10 years ago in india, and as the years go by the technology gets better & better. That being said, there can be issues related to eye pressure, dry eyes, number for reading, etc. So do your homework -- if you trust the doctor and there seem to be no potential issues then definitely consider it. xoxo

I like watching skin care videos. I find them relaxing lol. I had lasic after my second child. I was about 28 and I was near sighted. It took my dr more time to relax my anxieties and fear of becoming blind than it did to do the procedure. It was really fast and I healed well. I had to have it where they cut the flap in your eye so it took a little longer for my eyes to heal but I’m going on about 14 yrs now! I love not having to use contacts and it’s great to be able to open your eyes at any time and be able to see. The only drawback I have had is my eyes are more sensitive to light. I never wore sunglasses before the procedure and now I always wear sunglasses. At night, car headlights tend to hurt my eyes but I don’t drive a lot at night so it’s not a big deal. It’s still the best money I ever spent!

Natalie Weizenegger hey thank you for the comment. I am also near sighted. And without glasses i am almost blind. I was also thinking to get this procedure done but i am like you, a scared little baby. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I want to ask two things. And will appreciate if you answer them. I have heard that after surgery people tend to have problem seeing the near objects like phone and book. And also they will have to wear glasses in night driving. Second question is does your vision has to be stable in order to get this procedure done? Thanks

Hi Arshia, I recently underwent the relex eye surgery which is the laser surgery for eye power correction. I started to have the power issue from last 4 years which was not by birth. I highly recommend you getting the surgery and your life after the surgery is so much better without lenses and glasses. Trust me gal it’s worth it! I’m loving how I feel waking up with no glasses and no irritated eye bcoz of lenses.

I got Lasik done in 2016 and the operation got done within an hour.. I love it that i dont have to wear glasses anymore.. i find it to be 80 percent good and 20 percent not so good as sometimes with too much of screen time on TV Laptop Mobile the eye tend to get dry. There is nothing to be scared about the operation. But after that please do take really good care with medicine which doctor recommends. Lots of love PS even my birthday is in Feb and Turing 30 too !!!

I so needed this! I been struggling sleeping and staying asleep I'll go to sleep then only get four five hours & wake up!! 😵 And I'll jump right to RU-vid or read till I go back to sleep. So me occupying my mind by getting into a skin care regimen will help😊 would love to see a retinol video. I've watched one saying don't mix the Neutrogena oil ACHNE I think it is with retinol cream use one or other like I'll use the retinol at night because if you do during day you'll peel not everyone will but alot. That's why they say use it at night. The. Wash my face in the morning with the Neutrogena stuff. Anyone pregnant? Remember DO NOT USE DEFRIN or RETINAL very high intensity chemicals that's not good for for pregnant woman.

Lol I have a dedicated towel next to the sink for that very reason! I got LASIK and LOVED it!! I did it 6 months after my daughter was born (that was 5 years ago) and every day I’m so happy with it! If you plan on having kids I would wait until you’re done because pregnancy may change your eyesight. Good luck!

Love your night time routine !! We have similar routine but i use a lot of Peter Thomas Roth products which has saved my skin ! I would suggest you wait to have all your kids first before doing laser surgery because being pregnant can affect your vision again after the surgery . Love you !

Omg And I thought my routine was extra AF 😂I use the glossier facewash, the Glycolic Acid toner, Resevatrol & Ce Ferulic, Vitamin C serum, Retinol 2% once a week, a Japanese eyecream with retinol most nights, and top it all of with marula oil or a sheet mask. And then a few drops of lavender essential oil on my pillow to drift off to sleep! Also, I get what you're saying about loving your routine and making it a habit, I live out of a suitcase and I'm constantly traveling and my routine, however extra it sounds, grounds me and I love it.

Ms Maz I know what you mean.. this cream has soy and retinol I couldn’t translate the other ingredients as the packaging and info are in Japanese.. if you’re looking for eye creams at a great price , you could try the ordinary and inkey list.. I’ve heard many good things about them!

I haven’t done laser eye surgery !! But my cousins have. Like usual if you don’t take care you’ll need to wear glasses again!! But eye specialist said you definitely have to wear reading glasses later on !!! My cousins wearing glasses again reading and also for distance!! I have been wearing contacts for 26 years and touchwood my power hasn’t increased !!

Do lasik!! I did mine in Houston at Mann Eye. Started with a preop appointment for all the scans and mapping of the eye, eye exam, then they review pre/post surgical care routine. Day of surgery was fast and busy- they do a surgery every 7-10 minutes. Do a quick eye checkup again, give you a valium, take you in. A good center will tell you what to expect during the procedure...like..."you are going to see complete darkness in 3, 2, 1, you are about to feel suction try to relax and imagine you are looking straight ahead, you will now see a red light in a couple of seconds, ignore the light and keep looking straight." I got a teddy bear to squeeze during surgery, so ask them for something you can hold or bring a stress ball to hold. The surgery didn't take more than 3 minutes per eye. You can immediately see the minute you are finished with surgery, but your eye flap will need to heal so go to sleep asap afterwards. Your eyes will burn from the trauma and dryness, overuse the preservative free saline drops (comes in mini squeeze vials, Refresh Plus) and take your prescription drops on time. I can now see 20/10.

I did SMILE Refractive Eye Surgery at 22. It is a better procedure and latest than Lasik...and it has less healing time and soo much less side effects than lasik. It was an amazing procedure! The whole procedure took like 20mins for mine. No pain at all. It's worth getting done 😊

I am from India.....n have too have a sensitive combination skin......I don't face any breakouts even when I switch places.....I guess you should just know how to take care of your skin in extreme weathers n that is wat India has taught me. Also here we always prefer to use natural stuff on face, essentially watever we eat. Tumeric, aloe, coconut oil, gram flour, tomato, cucumber, lemon, yogurt n honey are a few basics. So I guess we don't have such chemical extracts on our face anyway that may be reactive to such extreme weather changes. Glad you commented. It was such an opportunity to show you a new perspective. I got LASIK done a little over 4 years ago. Best decision ever! It’s the quickest surgery ever. I had very high astigmatism and wore glasses since 3rd grade. It took 3 mins on each eye and recovery process is quick. My vision was 20/25 the next day and a week later I was 20/20. I highly recommend it!

I got lasix surgery done like 2 years ago and since have been suffering from dry eyes. Specially after If I’m working on my phone or computer all day my eyes are red and feel tired and extremely dry. I wouldn’t suggest getting lasix done but it comes down to personal preference

Hi Arshia my older brother got his eye lasik surgery done in 45 minutes to 1 hour there is nothing to scared of I am planning to do on me and my daughter the procedure is really simple you will be so happy after because you don’t need to worry about glasses or contacts refills

No we are in New York Long Island he did it in here Northwell health also do lasik and they leave locations in city too or if you want to come to Long Island it’s not far my daughter is in city Manhattan studying pre Med she comes home some of the weekends it’s not far . You have to search for board certified sergeon I am searching for me too if I found good one I let you know. But if you want to do it from India my nephew and niece did from Indor he is top doctor in India for lasik but I am scared to do from India my daughter don’t want to do it from India but nephew have great results it’s been 2 years for them after lasik their eyes are perfect let me if you need any help

Buy a squeegee, works wonderfully to clean the water around the sink!

I loved lasik best decision I ever made! I highly recommend it.

I got Lasik surgery done back in 2013 and I m so glad I made that decision..I would say go for it

Did u have any side effects? My eyes are soooo dry and sensitive to light

@@fstorms236 no I didn't get any side effects....check with your eye Dr and get lubricant eye drops you should be fine after using eye drops...one thing is I can't go out in sun with out my sun glasses on ...I start to get headache because of too brightness
