LOVE the AHA tonic by REN! I’m south Asian/Hispanic. I had really bad cystic acne for about a year and a half. I changed my diet and also started using this... it helped my scars so much. Everyone in my fam noticed. It helps with my texture and dullness. I use it every other day because my skin is sensitive. I have combination skin. More dry in the winter and more oily in the summer. But you could def use it everyday.

Great video. Just one note on the vitamin C “oxidising”. This really depends on how stable the vitamin C is in the product, for instance the Tatcha violet C is a stable formula so no need to worry about oxidising

I'm Australian & as a brown girl, my complexion becomes more uneven during the harsh Aussie summer! I definitely need to start using Vitamin C serums & Sunblocks more often. Although, I am a bit scared to use Vitamin C serum as it can irritate my skin. I have combination skin but since you are using it even though your skin is dry & seem to be loving it, I think I might try it.

NuFountains C20+ vitamin c serum is a best dupe for skinceuticals. It’s way cheaper and they make it fresh with every order! I love it and just got my second bottle. I have seen good results with it for my hyperpigmentation from my acne. Takes a while but worth it! (And store it Fridge)

When you talk about products than contains acids you should specify that you cannot mix every product when them... for example you cannot use AHA and vitamin C together as it may cause breakouts.... and another thing is that sun screen protection is a MUST for both products as they make your skin more sensitive! @@deepika2041 Hyaluronic acid is a component of your skin and it helps repair in case of sun burn for example, and it keeps your skin hydrated. AHA is extracted from fruits and it helps exfoliate your skin. You cannot use them pure. Usually if it is in a serum or a cream it is already mixed with other components, but read the notice first. Vitamin C is not an acid but you cannot mix it with AHA. For example, you can put vitamin C in the morning and AHA in the evening. *But anyway with all kind of acids and vitamin C you must complete your skin routine with sun screen!* *Make sure you test on you wrist before!!* You can find more info on internet ;)
