I can tell Kylie isn't a fan of cool shades. Which isn't a bad thing. I think warm shades are the trendier thing right now but it just makes me kinda sad because I love cool colors and I'm not a fan of warm colors and it is so hard to find a beauty youtuber with a preference like mine. :(

They had Juvias Place on Hautelook a week or so ago & I got the mini Masquerade palette (which imo, is a normal palette size) except I didn't know that when you order something on Hautelook, they don't ship it until the special is over which can take 2-4 weeks. So I JUST today got a tracking number. I'm like you & probably wont be using the palette for like every day, but I got it for those times I might want a pop of color (& I really like how Kathleen used it, w/ the neutral eye & the blue on the bottom lash line. I rly want to start doing that) & I thought it would be perfect since they are very nice quality shadows. So update: I got the Masquerade & immediately swatched that bright pink shadow. It was gorgeous! But it WOULDN'T COME OFF!! It seriously stained my finger & hand where I swatched it. But those shadows, omg. They are SO pigmented!! I'm super excited to use it.

I never understood companies that make eyeshadow palettes w/ just shimmers or mostly shimmers. I can get way more looks w/ mattes. I'd rather get a whole matte palette, & then a few like colourpop shimmers, or MUG foiled shadows that I like. Idk, it just doesn't make sense to me to make a palette w/ more shimmers than mattes. I just ordered the Tarte Tartelette (which idk why I never knew it was an all matte palette) so I'm hoping I love it. And I've had my eye on the Zoeva matte palette, which has some gorgeous warm tones but just today I got an email from Zoeva saying they have a NEW matte palette. It's bigger w/ more shades so now idk which one I want lol.

I love hearing your opinions on palettes. I think a great video idea would be the best palettes for traveling. I travel a lot and it's so hard for me to find one palette to do a variety of complete looks.

about the smell on the Kylie royal peach palette. I own the palette as well, and I was very intrigued by the smell. If you can notice, you can take the shadows out and it's not the shadows, it's the packaging. So I just emptied the palette and put the shadows in a Z-palette.

I want to get one of the Too Faced Chocolate Bar's but i can't decide which one! I have dark brown eyes and fair skin. I just got into the you tube makeup world like 5 to 6 months ago and I had an obbsesion with brushes and now it's eyeshadow palette's! I just can't get enough! I love Too Faced alot but it's hard to keep up with because they are always putting out something new. The ABH Modern Renaissance palette is one of my favorites! I love the pink in it! I'm just getting ready to watch part 2 so I wanted to watch part 1 again just to refresh. I don't have a Viseart palette & I always thought 80 bucks was A LOT to spend on a palette, but I was just thinking about it & $80 for 12 shadows, that breaks down to what, like a little over $6.50 a shadow? MUG & MAC single shadows are $6. So thinking about it now, if the shadows are as good as everyone says they are, it's actually a pretty fair price. I really want one but I just have so many palettes & a lot of them are new to me, I just can't justify it right now. But I just wanted to throw that out there for anyone who is considering it. They also have a little mini palette that I've been trying to get my hands on for $35 I think it is, just to try the quality, but every time I get the notice that it's back in stock, it's already sold out again. Lol The struggles!!

Luv2LuvEm when you weigh in the fact that it's much cheaper for companies to mass produce palettes as opposed to singals, then that should reflect in the price. There's no point comparing the price of singles to the price of a palette break down because the manufacturing costs are completely different.

What is the best way to help oily eyelids. i do my eyeshadow and a couple hours later it is gone! Everywhere else on my face is dry and i have combination skin at times. i just hate doing eyeshadow because it always comes right off.

Darn. I wish we had similar skin/wear types. I enjoy your taste but the products don't work the same for me. 😕 BTW the smell of BH Cosmetics and MUR are supposedly due to the mineral oil and talc(?) mix. 😉 Love this!♡♥
