I read If We Were Villains a while ago and wasn’t sure how I felt about it, but my rating in my mind has gone up so much since reading it. I think about that book ALL THE TIME.

Project Hail Mary is one of my all time favourite books. It’s honestly very funny at some points but also so thrilling and interesting - I think about it quite often

i finished "educated" a couple of days ago, and i was absolutely blown away by tara westover's resilience and ability to overcome years of abuse and indoctrination. it's a hard read, but it's definitely going to be a book i recommend to people forever :)) i hope you like it, des!

I just finished it for my university course! As a Christian I was slightly apprehensive of how being religious would be portrayed, but her experience was truly wicked.

The way you described the seven year split reminded me of Meg Cabot’s The Mediator series. Same thing, this girl can see dead people, moves into an old house and finds down that there’s someone living there from the 1800’s. Gosh, I read those books over a decade ago and I still remember scenes from it. So good!

Please read project Hail Mary with the audio! One of those where the audio really elevates the story (you’ll see why!) and is defo better that way. I loved it and it’s the only sci-fi I’ve ever read x

I LOVED The Ex Hex and The Kiss Curse so much - looking for more cozy Halloween vibes this year❤ Also - unpopular opinion - I think the Truly Devious series is infinitely better than Hawthorne Games series. I am super curious about The Naturals now.

The Humans isn’t short stories. It’s a book about an alien who has to pretend to be this dude on earth and he ends up falling in love with humans and how weird we are it’s super hilarious and heartwarming!!

omg i love dark academia so i am so excited for that video. i would suggest babel by r.f. kuang as well as it is simmilar to the secret history. it is also mandatory to read the secret history before if we were villains because they have a very similar plot :) anyway cant wait for the vid
