Bc I too have issues with my extended family and it's taken me all my life to finally realize that there's nothing wrong prioritising my family and giving them a healthy life mentally as well. So, I'm proud of your strength on that and you're not doing anything bad by focusing on your family first. That's how it should be. God Bless. 🤗

“Blood means family” hasn’t been the case for me either with my parents and siblings. Which is why I want to show my son something different with our little growing family. My husband and I have made some pretty “drastic” decisions to keep him safe and healthy so he can flourish to his full potential. I’m sorry but if someone is toxic (family or not) either get your shit together or i’ll just distance me and my family. Proud of the person you’ve become Chachi! God Bless you and your family ❤️

That's exactly how I felt after having my baby..you're still healing down there and trying to adjust to being a new mom and getting no sleep. It's very hard..and instead of being happy like u said I felt super down and overwhelmed. I definitely shed some tears but your body gets used to the odd sleep routine and u start getting used to things. Nobody said being a mom is easy, they just said it would be worth it 💗

Everything you said about family was so true and you really explained it in a way I would never be able to put into words. 💙 I cut off all the toxic family out of my life and only speak to my parents and siblings and my life is so much better as well as my mental health. I can’t wait for my little munchkin to grow up in a much healthier environment with good hearted people..

I love u so much, you're truly an inspiration & yes I totally agree with u that everyone has their "shit" but when it comes to having family members involved in your family life is important especially just having a baby can be crucial. I have similar issues with my family members as well & putting your family first is important so the decision u make is very important. No family is perfect but trying your best is key.
