My farewell to The Creepshow fans :)

Hey little Creepers. A pretty big announcement today :( So I wanted to make this video as a THANK YOU to all of you for being the best fans in the world.
ANNOUNCEMENT:
Hey peeps. I just want to take a moment to let you all know what's going on with my position in The Creepshow. So many people have been asking and the time has come to let you all know this...
Over the past few months so much has happened and I have had to make some really tough choices concerning my music career. In my heart, all I have ever wanted to do was to make music and to live music and to be able to do this every single day. In order for that to happen I knew I had to work as hard as possible and never give up. This is why I am a part of so many different projects. Doing these things has put me in a position where I am unable to satisfy every project full time.
With that said, I am, with great sadness, parting ways with The Creepshow.
I have put in over five solid years with The Creepshow. I gave so much of myself to the band and to my dreams and goals with them. This decision is a very very difficult one for me as I love the band so much. However, after much recent discussion, it seems my best bet is to step down and let the rest of the guys carry on without me. This is a devastating loss to me but it's a decision we all had to come to. I am very proud of everything we have accomplished to this date. I know and hope my spirit will continue to live in The Creepshow and in your hearts as they move on with whatever decisions they make from now on concerning the band.
In the end, I would like to thank all of our fans from the bottom of my heart. So much of your dedication is what keeps the music alive. Unfortunately things don't last forever. I feel incredibly grateful to always have the best fans, family and friends and the most amazing support system. I love you all so much! I sincerely hope for your continued support as I embark on my new adventures.

That's good, I bought some of your solo stuff when you and the rest of Creepshow came down to Fayetteville, NC. I liked it a lot so I'm excited to see what else you come out with.

Ran into you at QB's sports bar in Burlington one night wearing one of my many creepshow shirts and was totally blown away. That made my year. You gave me the heads up the latest album release, which I picked up the week after. Been coming to see you guys light it up for years now (Still have by merch from the Burlington Music Center and YMCA shows). Any die hard Creepshow fans know what a loss this is for the band, but we all wish you the best moving forward. Keep on lighting it up!

It is always interesting to see artists change and flourish. I had never heard of you until I heard Walk Off the Earth. But now after listening to these Creepshow tracks I am even a bigger fan. Keep up the great work. YOu have a beautiful voice and you ROCK!

I found The Creepshow kinda by accident when walking around Soundwave 2010 here in Australia, and loved the show you guys put on. Next day hunted down the music and couldn't stop listening. Then started following the music you were making and it's been incredible. Maybe will see you in Australia sometime soon anyways xD Goodluck with everything, i'll definitely be keeping and eye and an ear out for more of your amazing music :)

Sarah Im the singer of the Horror band that opened for you in EL Paso,Tx..once as a Misfits cover band and the 2nd time as our original horror music... I wanted to say that as much as this decision shocks us... I wanted you to know that with the Creepshow you guys were an honor to open for and it was amazing to have shared the stage with you.. on a personal and solo career end.. your solo music both touched and inspired me to continue work on my own solo album and I just wanted to thank you...

We got to see you three different times in St. Louis. The first time you guys played for probably less than 20 people and still rocked our worlds. You played a show for an empty building as if it were a sold out venue. Thanks for that, one of my favorite concert memories!

I just discovered you yesterday and I've been listening to you and Walk off the Earth all day (and night). You've got such a beautiful voice and so much talent and I hope I'll be seeing you more with Walk of the Earth (I love those guys). I was dying to see you the last time you came to Berkely, CA but couldn't make it...then I find out you actually played at the Boardwalk in Orangvale CA a couple of years ago. I definitely agree with what zippomage said. And about music business I can only say: I love music, listening to it, conversing/discussing about it and making it. I'd even go as far as saying music made me calmer and functioned as 'my therapist' in times of need. But from what I know, I'd never want to have a career in the music business - it's as unforgiving as they come - and 'doing your thing' becomes increasingly harder the more 'your thing' is away from the laws of demand/supply.

Got into The Creepshow and was at the gig the band never made in London due to visa issue then Hellcat left and I missed the oppertunity to see that lineup, wasn't sure what to expect when coming to see you guys supporting D.AG in Camden, you rocked the place and I absolutly loved it, then I got the chance again at The Garage on a headline show in Dec 2010 you guys were ill but still put on a rocking show. You brought great energy and spark to the band, Sorry they have lost you Wish you well :)

Sarah, I have been a fan for a long time, you have an amazing voice, and The Creepshow was one of the first rockabilly/psychobilly bands I got into. I had the privilege of meeting you at Ink-N-Iron a few years back and you signed a vinyl copy of 'Run For Your Life' for me, its a prized possession and hangs proudly in my room. As a longtime fan of all things spooky, I sold my soul to The Creepshow long ago. And it's because of The Creepshow that I started to follow you solo work. And it's because of your work that I started to follow Walk Off the Earth. So thanks for spreading your music talents around and exposing us to multiple genres. The band wont be the same anymore, we fell in love with the band and you as a whole. As a front woman you're so amazing! I saw you play at the Monterey Club in Fort Lauderdale and to this day I still say it was one of my favorite shows I have ever been to. I will always love that creepshow but with or without them you are such a talented person. They have kind of lost a fan in me but it makes me wonder if I was really just a fan of yours. Fitting that you used that song for your farewell! I found it to be the most poetical among those you sang. I got to know you from Gotye's cover, then discovered you in Creepshow. You just rock, but alas, I do not find the same flavour to the songs now that you are gone. I like WOTE, but well, I wish you could have continued both. Hi Sarah. I have a deep respect for you as an artist and musician both in and out of the Creepshow. I was lucky enough to see you and the Creepshow live on the East Coast of Canada before the release of They All Fall Down. That memory will stay with me forever. Since then, I have periodically touched base and am always blown away with your versatile talents and style. God have I been living under a rock? I had no idea about this.. I guess because I would just thrash the albums on my ipod and didn't really keep up to date. This is terrible news, I remember back when you guys played Adelaide, Australia at Soundwave festival. You were on earlier in the day and I hadn't heard of you. Just missed seeing you all in Nashville recently. Found out about it the day of the show. And my band, Creep List, just did that cover of Zombies Ate Her Brain that I sent you on Facebook. Those of you that are giving Sarah a hard time need to chill out. Having a career in music is VERY difficult. You are constantly trying to keep a balance between what makes you feel fulfilled and what lets you eat that day. And she is right; if you aren't in the industry, you have NO idea.

I don't know how I went so long without finding this out, but I'm so, so upset. The Creepshow was a revelation in music for me, I instantly fell in love with the music & your style. Seeing you at the Sound Academy in February with DKM is something I will remember forever. The energy you brought to the stage was phenomenal. I got tickets a few years back to see the Black Lungs but mainly because The Creepshow was also on the bill, I believe it was at the Opera House in TO. Wade ended up getting sick so BL cancelled but it still ended up being one of the best shows ever thanks to your performance! I'm sad that you won't be with them anymore (last album was killer!) but thankfully everything you do is money and I love your solo work as well as the WOTE stuff. You've got a fan for life here, keep following your heart!

I stumbled upon The Creepshow by chance a while back. After hearing Zombies Ate Her Brains and the Misfits cover, Halloween, I immediately became addicted. It was like a revelation and I became further exposed to the horror rockabilly genre, and discovered other bands, like Ghoultown and Horrorpops, and I became a fan of Sarah too. I'm sad to see you leave the band. We'll miss you Sarah, thank you and the Creepshow you're a great influence in my life. I'll keep my eyes ears open for news.

Sad news, but i'm sure you will move on to do great things. Walk of the Earth is fantastic and i'll keep supporting your music. I can tell you are passionate about your music and you are happy with what you do. "Do whatever makes you happy, and you will be successful!" -on a side note- can we expect Creepshow songs in future setlists? See you in Fredericton in august!!

I was so very sad to hear that one of my favourite bands(and best psychobilly band ever) was losing one of my favourite vocalists of all time. The creepshow just wont ever be the same without you. However that being said, im so happy that your still going to be making awesome music! Selfishly, I hope you never stop and as long as your making music you will have a fan

Spread your light wherever you want, I am a huge fan of The Creepshow. But surely you have so much more to give to a bigger audience than the band (depending on the genre, not the talent) could bring to you. I hope my english is better than it seems to me while I'm writing Go on and keep rockin' (our hearts)
