We did this last year for the first time last year to my son. It worked so well for him, too, and it was such a great intro to/ overview of the Bible. Just today he asked me where his Bible notebook was and he was flipping through it and remembering the things he had read and drawn. So great! ☺️
Also, I have to agree on how much we loved the animal devotional book, and also Cherry Lane. We did do that one as a family read aloud and it was so good to do it together. All my kids really loved the stories, and I loved the messages! God bless you and your family, Christina!

I am using this for the second time to teach them to read and I just cannot belive how successful it has been for both of my kids. I love this Bible/phonics program.
We just completed LGS for 1st and really loved it! I will be doing it again next year for my middle child and also doing Adventures in US History with my oldest. I love your videos! I have looked and I don’t see that you did any Adventures videos but please let me know if maybe I just missed it. I know not everyone does that one depending on what grades you are teaching.
Great! I'm so glad to hear it was a great year using LGS! I did teach Adventures, but it was before I started sharing on RU-vid. I will try and share about it in the future. I had lent ours out to a friend this last school year, so once I get it back I can share our experience using it. It was a fun year!
