If you wanna check out more SNSD bsides after this, I would recommend their previous album Holiday Night (with Holiday & All Night as title tracks). It’s been my favourite album up until Forever 1 surpassing it.
Each of these songs are such moods, I was vibing along with you in all of these haha. Gotta say though, Villain is my favourite, but Closer is such a smooth vibe song it's rising on my personal ranking with each listening!

I know right, the first part of album is so energetic, You Better Run & Villain duo is killing it, also Villain was write by Tiffany and Sooyoung, and she also direct the vocal recording, she really want show off the vocals there and she was success! Anyway, their second part of album have really chill vibe I think you might love it a lot. I will watch the video after it 😆
Closer is one of my favorites in this album. I'm so glad to hear the eight members for equal, everybody shines so much in this album...of course, I'm more excited to hear more HyoYeon lines not just rap.🥰🥰🥰
I was shocked when I first heard You Better Run and Villain as well but I'm here for it. It's good to hear them doing various genre. These 2 are the craziest tracks I heard from them. BTW, You Better Run is somewhat a sequel track for Run Devil Run. Some of the lyrics are continuing what they said on RDR.
All songs are a vibe.. Love Seventeen, Villain, Tiffany produced and she and Sooyoung wrote lyrics. They are just too talented, all eight.. beautiful harmonies from women who really know each other. 💖
Villain could be a song that Blackpink would sing in style, but i just dont know if they are vocally gifted enough to pull it off and outsing SNSD in that song. SNSD LITERALLY FLEXING THEIR VOCALS. Brings me back to the times Way back when girl groups could sing without a lot of sound effects.
There's no doubt that Forever1 is quite different than the rest of SNSD's catalog. As a life long fan of theirs I can honestly say that Forever1 is my favorite album of theirs. So many 10 star songs. Mood Lamp, Closer, and Summer Night are three of the best songs you'll ever hear.
Don't know if anyone mentioned it already but the second line following Taeyeon where you mentioned that you're falling for Tiffany's voice at 1:48 wasn't her but Sooyoung. The video lyric is wrong as it was upload immediately following the release of the album. If you listen carefully to the annunciation you can clearly hear that it's Sooyoung and not Tiffany.
11 year Sone here. I'm not gonna go and say that SNSD doesn't have any bad songs, because they do have several in every album that they released. That being said, this album really took me by surprise because I wasn't expecting much tbh. I loved 8 songs out of the 10, so yeah, this is one great album.
@@Teaspooncat sorry to say but it's Tiffany Song, she's writing in English lirik and Sooyoung helping her for translation in Korea And probably sound, voice work by Tiffany actually
@@Angel-eh6tb I know, Tiffany wrote it in English first and Sooyoung in Korean. The reason I said that Sooyoung is responsible for Kwangya being there is it's obviously her who added it bcs she wrote the Korean lyrics and that is solely a Korean word so it wouldn't have been in the version Fany wrote. And there could have initally been a whole other word in place of that but the translation of it didn't fit the rhythm/melody so Sooyoung wrote in Kwangya instead (since it also mean wilderness).
