Dude, same here for the tripod. I walked around an event I was shooting the other night with one camera on that tripod, like a dang wizard’s staff haha, but it’s so compact and minimal that I didn’t feel intrusive and was able to use it as a monopod to get awesome wide shots of the beautiful venue throughout the night. Definitely revitalizes the idea of a tripod

Very helpful One question is the newest square hood ( the one with the cut out ) is it compatible with a Tiffen glimmeglass filter that I want to put in my x100v ? Thanks in advance :)

Hey Benj, have you tried the Tiffen Glimmerglass filters? They give diffusion with less loss of contrast.

I haven't but I generally don't mind a lack of contrast unless I'm shooting JPEG, but lack of contrast usually means more dynamic range retention and I can add it back in post.

I did grind out the inside of the squarehood mark iii to fit a 1/8 black pro mist but still not able to fit the cinebloom sadly.

Greetings. I had a 85mm z 1.8 Nikon and LOVED IT. Due to work I had to pick up the 70-200mm lens. Wanting something different, out of 10 what would you rank the Artisan 90mm 1.25 as they sell this for Nikon too....

I'd say that the 90/1.25 is a really fun lens that will give a totally different look than the 85/1.8. If you're ok with a larger lens that doesn't work with autofocus, it's a fun one.

Great video. Should have a lot more likes. I got a Cleaver strap based on Your recommendation and it is by far and away best I’ve ever had. ( I have a banker box full of straps going back to the 1960s…so know what I’m talking about) You could go to a printer and get them to make black Leica stickers for you. And printer that uses InDesign can help you. If you give them a high res inmate of the sticker you will be good to go. Again always interesting to see your vids. I have my doubts about the peak design tripod. I have (too many) Gitzos and like them. Their traveler Zero Series is tiny and short and strong for its size.

Any kind of tape will leave an imprint over time. I'm guessing because of UV light? The rest of the body will change colors while the portion under the tape will keep its color. I know this cause I've done it on my A7II and X Pro1. You can get a black dot from DAG but it still won't be as clean as a M10P.
