Breath of the Wild is a pretty relaxing game for me. Sure, it has it's stressful moments, but it also has plenty of relaxing moments too. It's nice to chill out at a town or stable after a tough quest, or to ride my horse around Hyrule while listening to calm piano music and taking in the scenery.

Spiritfarer is lowkey addicting. I'm 40% through and I can't put it down. Once you're done with something, there is something else that pops up after. It's great.

A short hike has to be one of my favorite games. I got it for free from epic games on my pc and was initially skeptical about it since it was an indie game. Boy was I wrong... I had an amazing time playing it. It’s fun, has a cool art style, and the music is great. Every character has there own personality as you talk with each of them. Such a cute and wholesome game. I recommend this game to everyone who reads my review of a RU-vid comment XD.

I always hope someone will mention Go Vacation in chill game videos, not only is it my go-to relaxing game, it's one of my favourite games too. I love the little mini-games and activities but I spend most of my time playing either just exploring or snowboarding. One of the most fun games I've ever played. Happy you mentioned it.

Oh my gosh thank you so much for including Go Vacation, it is criminally underrated! Most people see this game as nothing more than a minigame complication, but it is more than the sum of its parts. Yeah, the main activities aren’t as fleshed out or polished as Wii Sports Resort, but the open world is what makes this game for me. Exploring is way more fun than you would think, it has a wonderful nostalgic vibe that I adore. My friend and I love this game and have a tradition where any time I’m over to visit I bring Go Vacation for us to play. We spend hours just roaming around, it is genuinely delightful. One of our favourite things to do is sit together on the ski lift and listen to the in-game radio station, there’s truly nothing else like it. There’s an Iwata Asks interview where the developers said that their main goal was to capture the magical feeling of being on a vacation, and oh my goodness did they achieve that in spades. So many fond memories with this game, it’s frustrating how misunderstood it is. Everyone should give it a shot, especially since it’s no longer just on the Wii. The Switch version even adds fishing, which makes the game even more relaxing! Go Vacation my beloved :,)

A Short Hike is such a masterpiece. I first played it when it came out on Humble Monthly. I still come back and play it every now and then when I want some chill vibes.

Yonder the cloud chronicles is my favorite relaxing game. Lots of quests and absolutely beautiful graphics and scenery

Abzu is one of my favorite relaxing games to play. The music is great and all the creatures are so beautiful.

I LOVE Go Vacation. I know that it’s not a very popular Switch game but it’s a very relaxing game for me. I love it so much that I’m considering creating an ACNH island inspired by it. I love exploring the island so much.

One of my favorite relaxing games has actually been SpongeBob Battle for Bikini Bottom Rehydrated. I’ve played that game so many times and it’s so easy to just mindlessly walk around hitting robots and collecting shiny objects 😄

We definitely need a Wii Sports Resort port or sucessor on the Switch, how has this not happened yet

Red lantern is by far my choice for most relaxing switch game. Short and sweet. I'll play threw it any night I'm feeling overwhelmed

Some of my favourite chill games are Haven Park and Donut County. Relaxing games that can be played for a quick 5 minutes or a chill hour. Thanks for the recommendations. I've put Alba and Go Vacation on my wishlist.

Summer in Mara, Yonder: Cloud Catcher Chronicles, Spirit of the North, and Disney Dreamlight Valley are VERY relaxing. Besides the ones you mentioned in your video, these ones hold a special place in my heart.

Donkey Kong country tropical freeze. It’s a weird-ish pick because it’s a hard game but replaying these beautiful levels before bed always puts me in a relaxed mood.

on the wii i spend an insane amount of hours in Go Vacation. and after years of playing it i still found new secrets in the ginormous open world maps. Go Vacation is in my opinion better than Mario Odessy when it comes to the openworld part. Plus you can explore with friends. The city map was my favorite because it feels so alive and the amount of tricks you can do with grindin on the many rails was always so much fun. I'll never forget the big jump off of the rocket all the way to the highest building in the map.

nice list, and thanks for the recommendations! i want to back up your recommendation as well with a short hike. its such an amazing cute relaxing game! very very very good, i recommend everyone to check it out! i initially played it bcs i thought it was going to be a quick short indie game that i can add to the list of games that i've beaten, but i ended falling in love with it. the island, the characters, the collectibles, the controls. i beat it in one night, but not only because of how short the game is, but because how much i wanted to keep playing it.

I bought A Short Hike for me and my daughter and i have to say that i never thought it would be this fun. It's one of my favourite games that i always come back too. Bought it for around 2,49€ in the e-store. Best value for money that I've probably spend on a game 👍

Stardew valley, Animal crossing, Minecraft, and Go vacation are so relaxing and enjoyable. I’ve had quite a few memorable moments while playing them, whether I was talking with villagers in animal crossing or stardew valley, or exploring the vast world in go vacation & Minecraft it was great. My favorite being Minecraft which has infinite world generation allowing you to always have new areas to explore.

I get relaxed by great exploration aswell so breath of the wild and even hollow knight are chill games for me!

I'm pretty shocked I've never heard of Alba, it looks so chill and right up my alley. Definitely added to the wishlist. I'd throw a big recommendation out for Yonder. Has a similar art style to Alba. No combat, just exploring a beautiful world and helping restore the island. It's so good.

Animal Crossing came out at the perfect time when we had to stay in door.

Wow... people really don't know slime rancher anymore... Slime rancher is a really relaxing game that can last up to 30+ hours if you're a completitionist. Slime rancher is a game where you feed slimes, take their plort and sell it, put slimes in a ranch, mix them with plorts of other slimes to create largo slimes, just make sure to not give them a plort different than the combination of the 2 slimes that made the largo, or else you'll make a tarr slime (the hurtful slimes). Its surprising that barely anybody knows slime rancher and slime rancher 2, though slime rancher 2 won't release on switch because of it's high ram requirement

I think trails of Zero (coming out officially in west on most modern consoles including switch) will be my favorite chill game (basically a police/detective anime drama lol)
