This is my favorite craps betting strategy. Do I always win with this craps strategy? Actually I rarely do. But hear me explain in this video why I still really enjoy to play this strategy from John Boender. Goal is to start with minimum investment, and as you win, place across all the numbers. After all the numbers are placed, you collect on the first hits to recoup your initial investment, second hit you full press the winnings. At this point you are in a great position if a long roll happens.

I ordered his 2nd video because of this episode of color up. I wish I had waited till you reviewed it because it was worthless. A waste of money. It is one big advertisement to get you to spend $50 on his first DVD. He did not teach anything new, just reviewed a bunch of strategies that are already free on you tube. Color up far surpasses his instructional information and uses actual dice rolls to demonstrate each strategy where as John never rolls dice a single time. Very disappointed. And no need to buy the first DVD since you have covered his strategies on color up.

Mike Green I think his 2nd dvd covers many different strategies, that maybe I also cover, so if you follow my channel consistently, maybe you do not need that one, but for the general craps player I think it’s helpful. He does offer his opinion on each strat, as a dealer and has seen it all. I almost never give my opinion and just haven’t seen these strats under real world rolls for any significant time. Now I completely disagree about the first dvd, I may have covered his strategy but don’t do it justice, he rolls for at least an hour covering many different scenarios that I didn’t cover, he also covers many other informational topics and I highly recommend it. I have also just watched his “dealer” video, it has a lot of info and I’m going to have to watch multiple times. Great stuff in my opinion.

I ordered this DVD set a long time ago. I got started hearing about Golden Touch from the History channel and then I found John's site. Enjoyed his DVD learning how to play and some strategies I used. Helped me a lot.

That is a fun strategy...i would just modify by putting free odds on the pass line instead of pressing the pass line bet up.

Much better idea. Why press the pass line bet up 5 to get 5 back when you can get at least 120% of that $5 at no extra risk?

Always take the odds - double will reduce vig to 0.6 %. Instead of "stacking", save the same bet amount for single odds first time.

No offense but this system seems like the "stay n play" and sort of break-even over time. It's great if you want some action on a players card and stand around having drinks. I like the $75 don't come method better for quicker action. This seems safer and easy to follow. I just don't see doubling or tripling the bankroll here. I like playing the game but I want to double my money if possible on a craps table. This system is kind of like sitting at Pai Gow and just breaking even and drinking. :) Nothing wrong with that!

Its break even or loss a little, until you have an extended roll, then you start full pressing, and I have more than doubled and more plenty of times.

Just used this strategy today only difference being spreading out my presses so one isn't disproportionately higher than the others but I was rolling and made $4000 before I sevened out on $25 minimum table. Only my second time playing Craps. Thanks for the strategy!

Coughing to cover mumble!!! {Bulls Tuff}!!! But glad u won i love anyone winning!!! Did u tip the dealer??? With that big a hit $4k IDK?? what does a CRAP dealer really do?? Push the dice to you? Always say "7OUT!!! " MUCH MUCH MUCH LOUDER than any other # ! Just to rub in the fact that just about everyone at that table just lost? An lost big! Get mad if only 1 dice hits the back wall an make u reroll a great hand that almost always was paying BIGBIGBIG 2 U !! Also repeats YO 11 really strange! Like if we was out in public an i heard him say that out loud i would move a few feet away from him or at least make myself self aware of all exits near me! Some will whisper to you while selecting you 2 dice out of 5 which one not to select, but i believe that last 1 is a inside joke ment to get more tips if they roll big on the first out. So the answer is NO I tip sparingly or place a bet for the dealer at least!!

Today I went to the hospital for a needed surgery. Wanting to be in a positive mindset, I wore my favorite t-shirt...my black "Color Up" one. Tried this today at the local casino and did very well. 200 buy in. 2 quick 7s had me nervous. But I stuck with it and hit some great rolls. Love getting paid 25 to 50 on the come out 7s. Thanks for the videos

A Cool way to play a hot roller being cheap to win big. I think it would be faster to just have a bigger bank roll of 300-500. Minimum on the pass and 20 across after the first roll. Hope for at least 2 hits to be safe or hope for a good shooter and try for 5 hits then pull all your bets. Would love to see you try that.

Thanks for the video. I just came back from Vegas an saw a layout at the Craps table in the Excalibur that was very interesting. They called it No Craps Craps! What they have done is eliminated the don't pass line! Then they added the 2, 3 , 11, and 12 as place bets! So the Come line doesn't lose on a 2, 3, or 12. The bet moves up to the number just like the 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, and 10. It was a 5 dollar table on a Saturday night! Being a Sith Lord (playing the DarkSide) I didn't like this layout! But I understand why the casino has done this since most people play the pass line so why not get rid of the don't pass line. So now you can place 52.00 across all the numbers. The payoffs are 6/1 for the 2, 3, 12, and 5/1 on the 11. Wild stuff! What do you think?

Stephen Scisney most places call it “crapless craps” anyway, some of the outside points pay a little less than they should and the house edge is higher than “normal” craps for those points, but the 4 -10, whether you pass or place bet are the same I believe. The stinky part is when you get a 2 or 3 as the point, chances of hitting are slim, and that’s why payoffs are higher.

I was just wearing my "p"ass line shirt at the casino yesterday. The dealers loved it! The box man even fixed my my line bet to match my shirt! I then went on to toss 24 numbers and five front line winners. Great crew, great energy all thanks to a laugh we shared over a shirt!!!

That is the most irresponsible betting system I've ever seen in my entire life If he rose a 7 you're out a lot of You do what I do and you're guaranteed a fricken when on every row You bet backwards on that table Let me explain You put $25 on don't pass you put $10 on pass When a point is established Let's say a 4 Is your point You put $5 On your point Remember It is extremely difficult to roll a number for So roll a 7 in my $10 profit Above your 25 And do just the opposite with a 6 and 8 You wanna break even on a 5 and 9. If you roll a 7 or 811 on your come out Ralph do not worry you double dial on both 50 on don't pass and tueni and pass Embete accordingly like I showed you. And once you make your profit on the row you start over

I seen many times after points established then 7 out by random shooters.so if I play pass line with them, I don’t do place bets,only play hope bet.spent smaller and good pay if hitting.some shooters did dice setting before the roll,it’s make longer roll,then I will do place bets,after 3/4 score hits,Turn my bets off or one unit working.waiting for 7 out.keep small winnings better than lost all.

Do you have any "$10 dollar table minimum" strategies? My casino only has $10 tables I usually go with a $200-300 bankroll, but can get ate up very quick at times. I wish we had $5 tables.... Thanks for the uploads I appreciate the time and effort you put in$!

I really like this strategy! Slow and steady wins the race so I would turn my bets off after 2 hits and wait for Big Red to show and restart the process! I can win 20 hits off 10 shooters vs waiting for a hot shooter that may never come! I was just in Biloxi for Superbowl and man the tables were cold! Wish I would have been playing the don't pass and don't come!

I actually used this strategy and it worked but had all my numbers full then a 7 rolled. I found it better to start with a $12 bet on 8 and 6 and then put $5 ON another bet n keep that profit

This is a horrible strategy dude. Basically, the plan with this strategy seems to be to wait until a 7 rolls without collecting any winnings. The point of craps is to rack winnings, not to leave money on the table.

I’m a new craps player. Watched many of your videos and decided to go live last night on a cruise ship. $10 table. 30-45 min of play time. $300 buy in and after tipping, colored up at $529 using this strategy. Had over $125 on the table working before the shooter rolled a seven. I realize this won’t happen every time, but I had tons of fun! Thanks for this channel and informative videos!!

Any strategy that requires longs streaks to pull in a good profit doesn't work much at my casino when I'm playing( I play 2-3 times a week). Most shooters get 3-5 good rolls before they seven out. I like that this strategy is fun to play. If table is hot enough, I would go off on my bets after 5 good rolls. Might even collect more often vs pressin up. (I play conservative and not high roller) I like how you used the field to gain chips for the pace bets

This is a fun one. You've reach goal early and your wife is still at the SPA. It keeps you active, you don't loose a lot or gain a lot but have a drink on the casino and move your units around.

I purchased his DVD a while back and actually went to the casino to try this strategy. The big problem I kept running into, is that you don't get a lot of long rolls at the table. Also, I feel when I did get at a good table and a good shooter, I still felt like I was losing because I had no odds behind the pass line.

Anywhere you slice it, the house has the advantage and every single role. You have to have long extended rolls to make money and then you can certainly give it back with some more cold shooters. Any strategy works great when the table is hot and it works like shit when the table is cold. No different on the don'ts. When the tables hot you don't win the table is cold you win but then everybody leaves the table. If you manage your bank real well you won't get her too badly, but look at it as entertainment and not I get rich quick scheme! Now if you know how to control the dice and only have a couple people at the table, that might be a little different story

Well... I have played about 50 hands of this on a simulator. The vast majority of the hands were losers, a few were winners and one hand was one of the magic rolls we all dream about, where I had pressed all the numbers up to $100 and they kept hitting. $5 turned into about $1500. But there was a lot of losing on both sides of that. I think the big problem with this is the number of rolls it takes to get all of the numbers covered and “paid for.” Most hands are shorter than that. If you can deal with losing a couple hundred bucks almost every time you play, just to get that really special hand once in a blue moon... this could be your strategy

The thing about this strategy is I'll call it the "ima live forever" strategy. It takes too long before you can begin to see any profits as you are waiting hit after hit to add $5 at a time so by the time you start to recoup, the odds are against you because you are on the 5th or so roll and the average roll lasts 8.5 rolls. This is kind of like the mentality that some people have that waste their lives hedging and saving and preparing for a future, little by little, then bam that future gets erased by a metaphoric point 7.

LOL! Love the ILF moniker. But the dumbest thing about this strategy it seems to me is continually pressing the pass line bet after hitting several points. If you want to do that, just put more free odds behind the line. At least the payoff is better if you hit the point. I swear, I really don't understand how some of these strategies can claim to be "strategic."

Which casino? ? Oklahoma got the wheel and dice around October or so last year. There was a huge teacher walk out and the state has loosened up its laws a bit. I believe it's for more opportunities to tax casinos so they can raise teacher salaries. I could be wrong though.

Love the videos! Your videos are well done, and I like how neutral you are in presenting different strategies. I play a lot of different strategies depending on the table and my mood. Usually when I first step to a table, I play the dark side. Most often I play 2 points with a don't pass followed by a dc. I will lay 2 units odds on the 4 and 10, 1 unit on 5 and 9, and no odds on the 6 or 8. However, I also typically place any open inside numbers after the come out roll. I consider it a conservative strategy. What are your thoughts? I have had some people at the table tell me it is a great strategy, but I have had others tell me it isn't.

@@ColorUp Thanks for he confirmation. I feel like its solid. I don't usually play with a huge bankroll. I like my $5 tables. I'm headed to Vegas in a couple weeks and hoping Excalibur still keeps a $5 table rolling. It's been a few years since I've been to Vegas. I am usually a Louisiana gambler.

Well they always pay double, so a full press every time you are still collecting. $25 pays $50, you bet $50 and collect $25, $50 pays $100, you bet $100 and collect $50 and so on

If you always parlay, you will end up losing. If you press the 4 or 10, you will be collecting half of your winnings.

Has anybody ever tried going with the trend? Like if the pass wins you bet pass. If the don't wins bet the don't pass. Basically you win on streaks and lose if it keeps going back and forth. I always play the don't pass, some I'm just wondering.

I practice this strategy a lot, and I'll be honest...it is FANTASTIC! I'm an aggressive player, and my local casino has a $25 minimum, so I press my bets by one unit on every win. I use this to get things going. As a controlled shooter, it's a great way to start my gameplay!

I'd be interested in your thoughts on this strategy at a ten-dollar table, but with a single press (press for $5 or $6 for the 5, 6, 8, 9) on every role. And of course buying the 4 and 10 on the first win.

I use this strategy and it has done great for me. The wife and I both started with $100 in Tropicana and cashed out at $2,500. I have not used the field bet but not a bad idea. I will try that next time.

Once again a losing strategy; lost of $7. The strategy I outline below would have won $335. Sorry, but this is the worst strategy I have ever seen. Martingale breaks down when there are table limits and playing the field does not pay odds. Instead, place a unit on the 5,6,8, and 9 and each time one of those numbers hit, you will get paid with odds, $7 each hit if you placed $5,$6,$6, and $5 respectively. What I like to do, is place $20 of the 5,6,8, and 9 respectively. When one of those numbers hits, the return is $30 for 6 and 8 and $35 for 5 and 9. I then take down those and replace it with $5,6,6,5 and ride out until seven out. This way I am in the game for hot shooters, if a seven comes, I'm still up $8 or $13. The only downside is that a 7 comes before one of the numbers with the big $ amount hits; like what happened on the second roll! Bad luck on that, down $100 right away. I usually restrict how much the $20 place bets are left up; typically just three rolls after the point. Riding out this game, I would have ended up $7 ahead, even after the initial $100 loss at the start.

All strategies lose in the long run. I understand you like to play the inside numbers and then regress. Its a fine way to play, but no better or worse than any other. Just depends on how the dice roll. Couple of strategies I show are very similar to how you like to play. Thanks for watching and your comments.

Hey man love the vids keep em coming. Ive learned craps from watching your vids and now understand the game alot better. Is the an app that you reccomend? I have a couple but there seems to be all sorts of issues with them when it comes to placing bets w odds.

Well you do collect, every other roll. Ideally after a number is pressed, then collect, then keep alternating

Makes no sense! At 11:46 in you played the field inirder to cover 5, 2.3. 10. 12; while the numbers where your investment is:6, 8, 9 cost you if like in this case the 5 hit. You just killed your payout on 9. Had you not played the field and chose to play the 5, the 9 hit would have paid for the 5 anyway. Losing $5 inorder to place the 5 is not a good investment. The correct investment would have been to place the 5 along with the 6, 8 and the point 9. Your iron cross strategy is much better than this! Furthermore, you are giving up odds on the line bet--an all around bad strategy

Is this really your favorite strategy??? I see many problems. First you don't take advantage of true odds on your pass line bet. Then you place the 6 and 8, which is good, but then use a (Hopefully) winning field bet to raise money for a place bet(s) on the outside. Why not just place them at the table minimum and alternate pressing and taking? Better yet, make a series of come bets and take full odds on them. This strategy only works when you hit those numbers multiple times anyway and if you happen to seven out you at least win your last come. So stay away from the prop and field bets, play pass line with full odds, place the six and eight, working on the come out if you're really ballsy, make a couple of come bets with full odds, alternate press & take, and hope for a really long roll. And don't forget to make some $2 two-way yo bets for the dealers while you're at it.

Play anyway you like and have fun with. There is no winning strategy in the long term. As far as “full odds” that’s not a player advantage bet, it’s neither player or casino advantage technically but what it does is get more of players money on the table with no greater chance of winning. It only increases your bankroll volatility. Great if you win, worse if you lose. Long term the math says odds or not makes zero difference. I have several videos that explains this in detail

Are you looking for another viewer strategy to try? My goal is to maximize number of dopamine hits while minimizing stress yet still have occasional chance for a big payout. First I do table min on Pass, then place each number besides the point. If I hit a number I bring it down and add a unit to the odds. If it's 6 or 8 I wait one roll before placing it again from my bank. If I don't hit any number I bring down an outermost number to the odds. So I always have about 31 dollars on the table, have several chances to at least hit a few numbers, and if I seven out after a long roll, at least my money entertained me for a few minutes before saying goodbye. Also the chance for bigger payout if the roll lasts a while. However, any winnings might be wiped out by all the tipping from giving the dealers a workout.

At 15:15 you hit your point which was 9. You had 25 on the pass line and I’m pretty sure no odds backing up your money. You paid yourself 35 to your 25. Shouldn’t that be an even payout or do some casinos offer you more on the pass line.

The goal of covering all the numbers first and getting there is ugly. Also, this pressing strategy is not ideal. The up and pull strategy is much better. The real goal should be getting your chips back up on the rack. Ideally, you should be in the green after the first hit.

I have a Simular strategy, but without risking your winnings plus what you've made... Place 5 6 8 $10/$12/$12 and $5 or riskier play $10 on field collect all hits until $37 is reached (not including passline bet) Then just one unit up everytime until 7 out...won 4k three serperate occasions but 7 outs happen more often...consider switching strategies on a cold table amd play dont pass as well

Question to anyone - is the reason he is not immediately buying the 4/10 when he has $10 because the minimum commission would be $1, therefore a 10% vig? Or am i missing something

Yes, vig would be 10% but it still pays more than place bet. But many casinos won’t allow until 20$ bet and proper 5% commish

Cool, how about this. Assuming you are playing at a $5 or less Minimum bet. bet the Minimum on the pass and on the don't pass. when a point is made bet $6 place on 6 and again on the 8 and a $5 field bet, using any wins, keep placing the numbers, start with the number five and have them ""pay" for themselves" when it comes time to press any number or the other bets start adding odds slowly till max odds on the bets.(at this time I will bank half a win and the other half add odds.) A "7" rolled will destroy this and you will lose $23 and earnings. I like using the place bets as it protects the field except from the 5 or 7 rolled. and I like keeping the Minimum $5 field bet always working. Lol.. I guess you could call this the Protection Racket. the pass & don't pass protect each other the 6&8 place bets protects the field bet a five place bet also protects the field and the field is the shop keeper who makes money and pays protection money he also gets wiped out when the rival 7 mob comes to town.

This is a great strategy if you want to take lots of risk with your capital. Mich Easier ways to make money, only if your goal is to walk away with money instead of having the mind set of gambling all you have, which is always mines. Conservative gambling always wins.

Lots of risk with capital? this is the opposite of that. Only risk $22 of your bankroll. Recoup it back as fast as possible, then and only then if you have some winnings you attack the house.

@@ColorUp .....I have a method I use in las Vegas that works most of the time. its super simple but requires many hours of play which I enjoy. The only priority is to take money from the table with absolute minimal risk. No large bets unless a certain criteria is met. First I only use the minimum bet on the passline . I usually get my money back on that bet. Always take money you win off the table. Never consider any money you win house money. That's all your money, period. Never be the roller of the dice, watch rollers at the table and see what players tendencies are, high rolls, low numbers rolls, all over the map rolls, etc. Watch what players crap out often, only bet with good rollers. Only place "on" number bets at the minimum amount once you determine which roller your going to risk betting. Never have more than 2 bets on the table counting your pass bet. If the table is cold and all rollers are playing like shit, pull your money and get lunch and come back later or move to a different table. This works for me so far about 80% of the time. I've done the math and I make about 100$ every hour that I put into it.

Why not up-a-unit instead of press and collect? I really like this strategy. I think it's easier to keep track live if once you've recouped, just go with up-a-unit on the inside numbers. You had trouble remembering which ones you had pressed and which ones were collect... Up-a-unit is better until you hit the same number many many times (like 11 times if I remember?)

There’s a way to keep track while you were at the table. Set chips up in your rack to represent each point stack a second chip on top of it when it’s been hit that way you know to press at that time

I have watched many of your videos. You built all the numbers up, which takes time, then start to take profit. How about start out high, say $18 on 6 and 8 and if you hit, take the profit and reduce to $12. Hit again, take profit reduce to $6. Wait for the 7, or built up again, $6 a time, if there is a long roll but you have your money out of the game

I used my $25 -5 $30 - 6 &8 $15 field for two rolls and down strategy and was up over $100 each time before you 7d out. Ended up $70 ahead at end of video. Now I will figure out what you would of had if you pulled down your bets after two hits.

My only gripe with this strategy is, why not when you win a point, instead of stacking your winning pass line money on your pass line bet why not just wait till a new point is established and then lay the odds behind the pass line?

You certainly can. I stack the pass line as the come out roll is only time the bet is favored to win. 2:1 favorite to win. Once point is set, odds bet pays better, but you are always more likely to lose the bet. Just depends how the dice roll which works out better.

Why are we never taking the odds bets here? It seems like it would be better to parlay the outside winnings to the odds bet rather than increasing the place bets. Any thought?

You can play odds if you like. Couple thing about the odds, it does lower the house edge which is great. But, it does not increase your chances of winning the bet. You are adding more money to bet once your advantage is over (come out) and you are now more likely to loss then win. Place bet pays more at equivalent size bet until you bet 5x or more in odds.

I have seen this strategy in your channel several times and it seems to work for your rolls but not so well for me. What do we do if we have a few no field 5 rolls with bets only on 6 and 8? I feel like after 2 or 3 rolls like that there is no way to come back from such an impact to my bankroll :(

I didn't even know this was a thing! I do a similar thing here in vegas, except I never did any research just figured it out how to play on the houses $ haha. I just play it a little safer 5 6 8 from start and field bet to cover 4 and 10 and use all winnings towards point odds. I don't press just recoup and rest of $ goes towards the point odds. Makes super good cash! The craps dealers and pit boss always make a comment on my play style that's how you know its a good one if it pisses them off 😂. I like odds play style better because as almost every table you will 9/10 run into a short shooter who will only hit 1 or two points and crap out. Anyone willing to try my play style will for sure get some money! Haha

Why not put odds on pass line when you win it vs pressing the pass line after the point? Same money bet but better odds?

You can play it that way. Pass line for come out roll has a 2:1 advantage to win and the game is decided 33% of the time on the come out roll. Odds is a great no house edge bet, but you can only bet the odds when you are more likely to lose.

I can see placing the 6 & 8 and field & pass line and if you win the 6 or 8 pressing them then covering the 5 but as for the 9 I think staying in the field as long as the 5,6,8 are covered is better as the risk is the same and the payout seems the same. and if you use more winnings to cover the soft 4 & 10 cover the Hardways 4 & 10 as well. and press the Hardways and field when they win and when they lose go back to the minimum bet on them.

The 4, 6, 8, 10 in middle of table are called hard ways. They lose on a seven and easy way, ie the hard 4 loses if dice roll 3/1 but win on 2/2. I have a video on my channel about hardways search it out
