Just wondering if you ever seen Elvis sing the song crawfish? He has some help for sure but I love that song. I Love New Orleans and I love the feel of it.
He wasn’t trained in dance in any way. Every move he makes is just his body naturally moving to the music. Impersonators have their heart in the right place, put they give people such a wrong impression. Elvis was so cool, so handsome, and so elegant. You just can’t recreate it. One I think you would love for the energy and moves- “ Got a lot of livin to do” But PLEASE do the right one. The one where he’s indoors in an auditorium and wearing jeans and a jean jacket. His mom was also in the audience and in frame for a few moments, clapping along.
Jane H commenting …. Elvis was a multi-talented man, & a very good-looking man as well. He had the leading roll in 31 Hollywood movies, before becoming bored with it all, & returning to his great love of performing before a live audience. So lots of singing & dancing in many more movies, & I love seeing them. Great Reaction from you.
He made 31 films and did 2 documentaries was some really good ones he's such a joy to watch great reaction of course l watched it all with you thank you 😊
This is a scene from one of his films ("Fun In Acapulco") -- seated at the table in a white dress is the famous actress Ursula Andress who went on to make a James Bond film. Bossa Nova was a hot dance from South America at the time. That was some nightclub. It was all to generate good feelings & a good time. It did. Outside in the real world, people were uptight about Vietnam & protests. Elvis' movies were escapism. Never meant to be taken seriously. Another good assessment.
Girl Happy and Follow That Dream are great movie tracks. Upbeat, great for dancing to. And Wonderful World. Elvis didn't like the movies he acted in and wanted to be taken seriously as an actor. I hope he knows how much joy they still bring to people. I've danced to this many times!!
ELVIS DID 31 MOVIES AND JUST A OUT SEVEN HUNDRED AND EIGHTY SONGS. FIRST HE STARTED 1954 TILL TIME HE PASSED 1977 GOOD SONG / WALK A MILE IN MY SHOES FROM THE INTERNATIONAL HOTEL IN VEGAS. TRUTH TO HE REALLY STARTED AT THE OF 1969..
I just came across you today on FB. I am so so hooked! I just love how you get Elvis. The fact that he still can reach people is just amazing!!! I look forward to seeing more of your reactions
You would like the song trouble from his movie King Creole 1958 & also from the movie title the song he sang King Creole he always said it was his favorite movie that he made I love that movie it really showed he could act! I love all of Elvis’s movies even the more beach type because his strong charisma & sex appeal come right of the screen gosh he was gorgeous!
From the movie "Fun in Alcapulco". He's doing the Twist that was a popular dance back then made famous by Chubby Checker. But Elvis makes it better with moves he adds to it.
Elvis? The beginning of a certain freedom of expression singing and moving......except for the hypocrites. His songs about the ghetto, about his coloured brothers, about his no- discriminación,about his dream, they hit me strong. His movies don't impress me as much as his music. He left too soon,I wished he still would be here, same as Tom Jones.Jeez,he had a beautiful voice and a carisma (honestly:sex appeal but in a healthy way)♥️
Check out the Heineken Bossa Nova commercial!!!! Look for the 2:01 length (there are more than one). The man just stays relevant! He’s also hit the charts in the past 10yrs or so w remixes of ‘Little Less Conversation’ w Junkie XL, and ‘Rubber Neckin’ w Paul Oakenfold. Both so much fun!!! Of course, young people heard Elvis & his songs throughout the soundtrack & film of Disney’s Lilo & Stitch😊 Glad u played it twice!😁 Stay safe & love much💖
Elegent indeed, he was amazing. Thank you for reacting to this. I think you would also love Return to Sender and Come on the everybody with Anne Margaret. Merry Christmas to you and your loved ones from Australia. 🌲🎅🏼
Thanks for the reaction to this! I believe that I requested it. Elvis had moves, didn't he? He became more comfortable with his physicality after his army stint thanks to taking up Karate. He always had natural athletic ability too.
Pzo, PLEASE study up on Elvis. It's incomprehensible that by now you don't know that Elvis was in over 30 movies, and was the highest paid actor of his time.
It would of been awesome(and very hilarious) if you set up the video in the background so you were able to dance next to Elvis! If you did this might of went viral. 😎
This was one of one his corny movies.. but Elvis always brought it... lovee it. And was still being crusified for him moving hiis hips... wtf.. this day and age.. so dang tame.
Elvis danced and sang his way through so many movies. I think I have them all on DVD and watch them over and over. It's so fun to watch him perform, he was so cool and so sexy. He really was a good actor as well, if they would have given him all the roles he wanted to play, he would have been amazing! He was forced to play a lot of roles in movies by his manager Colonel Parker, just so Parker could make money. Elvis had been requested by some of the best in the business to co-star in leading roles but Parker refused.
Elvis Presley The Lady Loves Me (4:13) And C'mon Everybody (4:01) Elvis & Ann Margaret From the Movie "Viva Las Vegas" Elvis Presley "Mean Woman Blues" (6:08) From the Movie Loving You
What an incredible reaction of you to this song and this time of Elvis' life and era. Now I am ecstatic for you to see more of this time of his life and songs like this one. Truly! I think you'll like them. Elvis had so many styles of songs and dancing. To see more of this side of him, you could check out C'mon Everybody. The video of best quality is called 'ELVIS PRESLEY - C'mon Everybody (Original Soundtrack) 4K'. Though the other one with less image quality has a little movie scene of him acting before the song. I did see in the comment section of your last video that someone mentioned Polk Salad Annie from his 1970 Las Vegas performance. That one is my favorite from the 70's and really entertaining.
This is from his movie Fun in Acupulco he did 31 movies plus 3 live concert documentaries. I love your reaction in this. I agree with previous comments..you would have so much fun with Polk Salad Annie as you really enjoy his high energy...The song Mean Woman Blues from Loving You is also great. When you enjoy and really get into his music and performances it always makes me smile. When someone discovers and enjoys Elvis so much I always call it the Elvis Affect. TCB 👑⚡️
Pzo, you could do a reaction to paint drying on a wall and make it cool. Love your reactions. Great video. Please try Polk Salad Annie 1970. Also for movies, "Viva Las Vegas" from the movie Viva Las Vegas and also from the movie Live a little love a little, "A little less conversation".
It's short and it's fun and so I'm glad you went through it twice absolutely. It's funny even when he's doing somewhat of more traditional dance style, he just moved so effortlessly and he was so good at it. He was quite the athlete. And really I love that leap off the stage that he does at the end. You're looking right at it so it's hard to appreciate I think how great it was for not putting seemingly a whole ton of effort into it. It wasn't like doing the broad jump or anything and he's in those slippery dress shoes and he just gets a little running effortlessly launches into the air at a pretty good rate of speed and covers a whole lot of ground and then lands and slides a little bit and he's right there taking a bow. I mean fantastic. And then he runs up the stairs and turns around and bows to the whole room a final time before it disappearing.
You should watch at least a few of his 31 movies. My favorite is actually *Charro* where he doesn't sing st all throughout the movie. He only sings the movie's theme song at the beginning and end of the movie.
He really is moving his hips on this song, and looks like is going to trip over. However, his motion seems more polished and smooth compared to Jailhouse Rock. His dancing in Viva Las Vegas is like this also.
